We should all learn to calm down alittle bit. In the last day I have watched volnation hit rock bottom. I have watched this site go from bashing Dooley to turning on the kids talking about Divas and lowering effort because of the different QB. I am frustrated just like everyone else, but I think as soon as people stop the rumor mill and wait for facts if any this place will be much better. A week ago everyone was all over Rogers for being a great WR and now he is a Diva come on people. Now I have not been on this earth as long as some and no I don't know as much as some of you when it comes to Vol football, but at what point does everyone just move on and get ready for next season. Remember the offense was good when everyone was healthy and the D looks good until they are on the field for 70% of the game. We have a great class with alot of EE's coming in to help as well. Stay optimistic volnation, the sky is not falling no matter how bad you feel about yesterday. It's Great to be a Tennessee Volunteer. Go Vols!

If you think it's great to be a Volunteer right now, you need your head examined.

I my friend am always proud to be a Vols fan win or loose, I am not jumping ship. Hard times come and go and I refuse to lower myself to the standards of the UGA fans I work with that come and go from the fanbase depending on their record.

Without emotion i was a strong Dooley suporter but this last lost is the final straw for me. The kids are great and they are not the problem. it is bad coaching that starts and ends with the head coach. I am a large UT doner and that does not make my opinion more important but I am tired of my money being drained by subpar coaching.

I can totally understand peoples frustration and I for one think that there is a major problem in our coaching.
Lets look at the season as a whole and take it for face value.

1. Our o-line is in it's second year and they absolutely regressed. Line coach needs to go

2. We have a former WR coaching our DBs, they have been torched all year and look scared/lost. Coach needs to go

3. Our offensive struggles are deplorable. Chaney has to be the worst play caller I have ever witnessed. 3rd and 8 from the opposing team 30 and you call a run play?! I think our stats themselves speak volumes for how bad Chaney is. HE NEEDS TO GO!!

4. I'm not sold on our leader DD just yet because I can't get a good read on him but one more year and it's do or die. I do think however think he is too nice and just seems way in over his head. :rtfm:

I am not happy the streak ended, but I knew that it wasn't going to last forever. You know the best part of football, there is always next year and you know what you will be there with everyone else cheering for them, so get over it.

Maybe you should grow up and stop crying over something that has no prominent effect on your life. Beside upsetting you for hours and you probably couldn't sleep because the heavy stream of tears coming from your eyes, a bad year doesnt hirt you. You still can go about your life with no hesitation.Maybe you should be the one to get a clue. I choose to be optimistic instead of crying abut it.

People will be over it in about 26 years.

what better sign of the sky falling is there than losing to the KY we faced yesterday, with their three days of game plan prep, one page playbook, and WR playing QB for the first time?

serious question ... what disaster scenario tops that?

its hard to be optimistic when you have non SEC Caliber players starting and coaches that can't make them better.

You know what's worse than losing to Kentucky? Coming on here and reading all of the *****ing from a bunch of grown men. **** happens. Grow the **** up. We can't go anywhere but up from here. That is all. Go Vols! :loco:

Losing your best DB, LB, WR, QB, IIRC all of your safetys at some point, have a young team with a second year coach (3rd coach in 4 years) and staff, all while playing the toughest schedule in the toughest conference in the the country is a much worse disaster scenario than losing one game. Just throwin that out there.
