I Think Jarrett Guarantano is Trying to Tell us Something ...

Opinion: Tee Martin will be given the opportunity to be HFC at UT. Not now, but will be provided a chance to groom for the role. It will be his decision to make.

Not necessarily for Cutcliff over Les, but would be OK with either and Tee OC for a few years to turn the keys over to him later...would be nice transition.

I don't understand why people can't see this. Tee Martin is gonna be a good one.He deserves a shot.

I don't know how you see it. What has he done that was so spectacular. He only put up 27 on a Texas defense that gave up 51 to a 4-8 Maryland.

Tee is not that type of guy to be a head coach at this level. That simple. He had his chance to be a stand up guy with two kids in Knoxville when Butch offered him a job. He choose to not be involved in his kid's life and stay in Los Angeles. Doesn't sound like a quality guy anyway.

Tee has turned down opportunities to return before. No way he gets to come back as a child head coach.

After he is grown--maybe.

Opportunities now should be limited to QB coach and OC under of Kiffin or Leach

Do you think there is the slighest possibility you/I/we dont know the whole story? Has timing ever played a part in your/my personal decisions? Im including myself in my comments so this doesnt seem like an argument. I dont know if Tee will be a good HC either... no one can say for a certainty. For that matter, no one can gaurantee Saban could succeed here. Life is fill of uncertainty. After this week, im willing to roll the dice on Tee.

Yeah the OC under Kiffin is VERY good. He was at Baylor and had a dominant offense.

LOL.

This has to be the football coach discussion equivalent of Godwin's Law. Anytime someone doesn't like a coach, "there was this one game ..." There's no coach in the nation that hasn't had a bad game at one point, including Saban. He's 20-5 over the past two seasons as OC. He put up 52 against Penn State in the Rose Bowl last season. It's not a coincidence that USC's fortunes turned when Tee Martin took over as sole OC.

they both played QB at Tennessee. Tee won a National Championship and Peyton didn't.

What else do they have in common?

Do they have about the same knowledge of the game?

Who knows. One has proven to be pretty good. Like greatest all time in pro ball.

Yea, I guess they are about the same?

I don't know if Tee is ready to be our HC but, I do feel that a least we could show him some respect and give him an interview.

Tee will be a disaster.

Tee isn't my first choice. I had rather have a proven winning head coach. But, there is no sure thing no matter who it is. If we are going to hire an unproven coordinator or mid level head coach, then I rather have Tee.

Dammit. Just make him HC now and understand that it may be a little rocky to start. Surround him with great assistants and let’s go.

He’s a 19 year old kid. I get it but he don’t. Tee may be ready but Man U talk about a pressure cooker for a first head coaching job .... your home school plus all this to boot.... smh good luck Tee

If he's not given the opportunity this time, there won't be a next time. This time might be too late.

You people are crazy. Many in the athletic department know that Jarrett also wants to be on the UT Golf team. He was on the State Chamiopnship team in HS.

That’s not tea in the cup. Anybody who wears diamond earrings knows that the cup contains vinegar to clean them.. common’ folks..
