I think Fulmer is going to be fired at the end of the season

Does Fulmer resign or step down at the end of season?

Does anyone honestly see UT beating anyone in the SEC this year other then maybe Vandy, Ky, or Miss St?

Everybody seems to be writing off the wildcats this year. Have you really thought about what Andre Woodson can do to the current lineup we have in the secondary.

Fulmer will be your HC for the 2008 TN volunteers and he will likely get another raise at the end of the year. Hamilton and him are tight. But we can get any coach we want. Its proven that we can afford anybody.

Ben Martin, despite his injuries, and Eric Berry are seeing time on the field, which is good cuz we need both of em. But why aint Chris Donald got a chance? Those 3 were the biggest names cumin in this year.

like it or not we're gonna have to bring in a new innovative coach to install a new and totally different style of play than us original Vol fans are used to seeing... theres no doubt that we will need an aggressive coach with a killer instinct but i think since we are gonna be playing against a new batch of coaches in the SEC who are gonna take chances, run up and down field, and blow you out everytime they get a chance to that we need someone to come in here and install that killer instinct in our players and focus more on getting stuff done and making things happen than playing not to lose and give up big plays

Amen brother...your singing my song!:clapping:

you know i like fulmer, he is a good coach, but i believe that his tenue is just about up. he either needs to retire or be let go at the end of the season. as for as a replacement goes, i think possibly Jon Gruden from the bucs would be nice. and who knows, if we would pay enough maybe even a pete carrol possibly??
No offense, bud, but this is the kind of post that Bammers put up way back when and I would start laughing to myself! Why in the world would Pete Carroll leave USC?! As for Gruden, what in the world makes you think he would be a good college coach? (or really that he can be a successful coach period).

Doesnt matter if they dont bring in the right guy after him.

exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

all is not well just because phil fulmer isn't there. he's had a great run as head coach and elevated our program to incredible heights. he needs to step down gracefully and they need to make sure to bring in a stud coach. otherwise we're only going to go further down.

this jon gruden crap has just gotten gay already. what's with the mancrush that so many seem to have on him? because he's an nfl coach? because he won a super bowl? obviously national championships in college don't mean anything anymore so why should a coach that has been beyond poor since winning the super bowl be so sought after?

i thought you wanted to win? instead you'd rather take a risk on a guy who has never really coached the college game? yeah.....that's a GREAT idea. give me a break.

seriously. we are going to struggle to make a bowl game. UK just beat louisville, bama is back in a big way, ark is a loss, USC will be a difficult win, not sure we can beat UGA. we might freaking lose to miss. st.

I don't think he'll get fired. I think he will give UT a new chance to get back to the top and resign. It sucks that he will probably not be leaving on the highest note, but he's got to see that everyone wants a new direction.

Don't the gators have a board? Why are you always trolling here?

I actually think CPF has had enough of losing to UF that he will resign Monday morning. I know that's saying a lot, but he's finally starting to show that he's given up.

After beating Louisville, Kentucky is for real. UT is for real too, real bad.

At the end of the year Fulmer is going to do the honorable thing and step down.............or stay and be fired.

I don't think he'll get fired. I think he'd have to resign himself but I don't think he'll do that either.
