the issue that we lost to two very good (highly debatable re Cal) teams on the road; it's that we got pasted and showed no semblance of a defense or any coaching whatsover.god i can't believe you guys...we played TWO TOP 10 TEAMS ON THE ROAD! would you guys calm down about the damn season being over
I am an avid fan, holder of 4 season tickets, and a recent alum, but I think that this program is done. Just as every company that is "family owned and opperated" starts going downhill when granpappy won't upgrade to computers; so will the Tennessee program start to decline without modernization. We need new blood and new energy. That is hard to say. . . almost like telling your father you don't love him. . . but sometimes it is best to realize you aren't cutting it and hand off to someone else.
That being said, I think we drop this game, 38-17. And I hate it.

Well here is a Jolly Idea for you, BECOME AN ARKANSAS ST. FAN YOU MORON!
Can you read? I go to every game. I hope that I am wrong. I hope Tennessee waxes Arkansas State. I wouldn't spend thousands of dollars every year on seats if I wasn't a fan. I said that I think that Fulmer is past his prime, worn down, distracted and that I THINK Arkansas State will beat us. Re-read the post. :banghead2:
Oh, and I am at home now, and changing the avitar to one of my personal favorite pictures from school.
Oh...missed another point.
When fans are comfortable with UT losing to "top 10 teams on the road".....
It's yet another sign that we are slipping.
And...apparently, lowering our standards.
And our expectations.

The fact that we are even discussing the possibility of losing to Arkansas St at home is a sure sign of how far we have fallen. No offense to our Arky St guests, but in the past even the most pessimistic among us would never have thought that possible.Oh...missed another point.
