I remember one year we played Florida at home and our defensive tackle, from Martin, Tn. had a shoulder issue. He played the first quarter of the game and was not effective, so he was replaced.
He ended up being drafted by Green Bay.
Hope JRM will be effective.

Justin Harrell, I thought it was a torn bicep. He wanted to beat the Gators...gave all he had

This isn't really a medical update obviously I'm no doctor who evaluated him. But, when I spoke with JRM roughly an hour after the game....

He told me he will be back. I asked him if he's "okay" and he said "yes, I'll be alright". I asked him so it isn't anything too serious and he said "nah, nothing too bad" I told him get well soon and he said "I'll be back soon".....

I know this doesn't offer anything really but he was going about his business as usual. He was in good spirits. Was in a very casual state about himself and the situation.

He didn't offer any specifics as he may not even know for sure....

Just passing on my conversation....

Sure you did...LOL

This isn't going to be a popular conversation, but Jalen has to look to his future, I'd rather he protect his shoulder and get ready to make money, but the kid loves UT. I plead to Jalen, "Please think of yourself son, your future is on the line. Now,Jumper played his best game against Ohio, and for those that want to trash a kid that's playing D-1 ball and 99% of the detractors (fans) never sniffed a college football field slamming him is sad. The kid lines up correctly, makes adjustments, and puts others in position to make plays. 5 solo's, 2 assists? Kid played a good game, and he will only get better and anyone who slams this kid needs to look at the effort he plays with and remember, HE'S PLAYING FOR THE TEAM YOU NEVER MADE OR PLAYED FOR. Some of you fans are ridiculous. As Dirty Harry said, " You're a legend in your own mind."

Jumper in my book is a player and his stats showed he's making a jump from 2nd string to 1st and I for one am glad he's giving his all for Tennessee. Now if you choose to tear this kid down then it's on you. Belittling a player who's doing something you could never do in a million years makes you feel like the big man on campus, then have at it. Losers come to mind when berating a student athlete.

I'm not even a UT fan and I'm boo'ing this.

JRM is a difference-maker, his future is Saturday and Saturday only.

Well, he kept trying to grab his helmet during the Ohio game, and the trainers kept taking it from him, so I doubt he misses Florida.

This kid has PRO written all over him. He'll gain the weight and keep the speed. Bright future unless he tears his shoulder up to hell and back. Sit out until you're 100%. Time for the young man to think of himself.

He wouldn't be near the player he is if that is how he thought. He's a fierce competitor that wants to be on the gridiron with his teammates. The medical staff is best suited to make this call.

Did you forget a "P" or are you just really into home improvement projects?

Gosh, I'll never live that down, will I? I forgot the "p", never noticed it, but I'm embracing the home improvement thing until I figure out how to change it. :dunno:
