It used to drive me batty, but VN has a way of deadening your sense of grammar.

I compare this misuse of that word to the whole Kiffin/Kiffen debacle after he was hired. How the hell is that a hard name to spell? If I see something spelled correctly once, I will not misspell it again. One problem I have with VN is that some kids probably come here to get news on the Vols; if this is the only place they come, it's likely their reading comprehension and spelling will suffer greatly. At one time when I was trolling with alters, I thought about doing one that just went around and mocked the worst grammar offenders on the site. Decided that would probably go over like a lead zeppelin because the majority suck at it....

Here's one of my problems with incorrect grammar or spelling on the internet, when corrected, most will say "Hey, it's just the internet". No idiot, it's you on the internet. If you do it here, you're doing it everywhere.
