I see no reason why we can't have a top 3 recruiting class in 2019

First of all, we'll have the buzz of having a new head coach. Even Butch Jones was able to parlay that into a top 5 recruiting class. Now we have an even better head coach with better recruiting ties across the South. And more importantly, the state of Tennessee is LOADED in 2019 like never before. We have nearly 20 4-star recruits just in the state of Tennnessee. That's more than twice as many 4-stars as we had instate in 2017 and 2018 (which were considering two of the best years ever for talent in the state of Tennessee).

I'm really excited to see what Coach Pruitt and his staff can do with the class of 2019. We should be able to lock up the state and get everyone we want. And with his ties in Florida, we should be able to get some of the top guys in Florida as well. The biggest battle ground will be Georgia. Kirby has it rolling at UGA so we're gonna have to fight to pull out some of the top guys from the state.

Should be a fun next couple of months on Rocky Top as this new staff hits the ground recruiting. Hopefully the instate kids from the class of 2019 get onboard quickly so we can have momentum throughout the summer with the top recruits outside the state.

Plus he's walking into great situation. Talent in the state of Tennessee is EXPLODING right now. The class of 2019 and 2020 are both loaded. Could be the start of a new normal where Tennessee is a top 5 state when it comes to instate talent.

You are so right. Plus i believe he will bring in good recruiters and coaches with him. I really think Fulmer got it right with this hire. You will see a tougher and more physical team on the field next year. People in Alabama didn't want him to leave.
