In a game that seemed like the play of Derrick Barnett was the lone bright spot, I actually thought Elliot Berry was very impressive at times for seeing for first real action of his career. I think he could develop into a playmaker for us on defense if given more playing time.

Yeah he did pretty good but the LBs didn't seal the edges and we got smoked on the outside. He's starting to grow into the position like Jumper has.

He'll build knowledge and instincts. But, this was not his first action. He was schooled at UGA and played a lot at ATM too. He seems to be lost out there at times. But, has some ability to make solid plays too.
Glad we have him.

He was out of position most the game. That's why they attacked his side

I think James Berry needs to donate his "you know samples" so in a few years we will have more VFL Berry's. Eric, Evan & Elliott..... Yeah We need the next generation.

That is right, but some of those times, Jumper or maybe the coaches shifted him out of position. That was definitely the case on that sweep Hurts ran.

I think James has done his part.

Our best chances are for Eric, Evan, and Elliot to be fruitful and multiply.

The thing I like about all three Berry brothers is that regardless of their individual ability, they all give supreme effort when they are on the field.

Elliot Berry had a huge game for his first start. Nine tackles, six solos, 2 for losses.
Surprised more has not been said about his performance. I thought he stood out.

Eight kids with eight different women. I doubt his kids know much about Travis.

Elliot did play pretty well, but could he start for any other team in the SEC? Probably not, but he would be 3rd or 4th string, no?
