"I was just trying to knock the ball out," Jackson said. "I understand that it's a new rule. For a type of player like me and a lot of other players, it's really not a good rule because what do you want me to do? You want me to push him? You want me to kick him? I'm going to come hit you and try to knock the ball out. That's part of the game.

"Yea (the rule could affect your game), but I will still hit you every time. I don't care."

No wussy football for me, please. No thank you.

Rule or no rule, The guy comes and brings the wood.

That's Tennessee Football.

Janzen is the man. I knew he was the real deal after the hit on Brandon James in the end zone at the swamp last year.

They should just put flags around the players waist & put pink jerseys with ribbons on the QBs. Football is becoming a joke, football is known to be a contact hard hitting bloody nosed sport. Now it's becoming wussified.

All these former players that are either dead, broken physically, or severely damaged mentally from concussions and other aspects of this "contact hard hitting sport"probably wish these rules were in effect 35 years ago...not trying to argue, just pointing out the viewpoint of those on the other side of that argument.

And they were all well aware of how violent football is. They chose to play the game....

Oh I'm not trying to start a debate or argue with ya, just pointing out that 40 years from now, the JJs of the world will probably be glad rules such as this are in place.
