I remember the first tornado Super Outbreak on April 3, 1974. I was 16, mom and dad were out of town, and my sister and two brothers and I were hunkered down in my brother's bedroom in our house in Huntsville, AL. We did OK, but some of our neighbors lost a lot.

I remember 25 cent coke machines5 cent Cokes from a vending machine. We used to make badges with the caps. The caps had cork on the inside. You would separate the cork from the cap, place the cork on the inside of your shirt and press the cap over it from the outside of your shirt.
Memories, anyone?
