I doubt the turkey story is true. I don't remember it happening. He did make a bundle on the grocery stores. His life story is very interesting. I don't agree with him on anything but the way he came up from nothing is fascinating.

Saw what we called skin flicks at Bijou ... And when younger saw a Disney film seated in same seat LoL

They had done some of the restoration the last time I was in it. Probably 2002 or 2003. Whichever year it was, I saw Bonnie Raitt one month and Keb 'Mo a few months later. I need to try to get in there to see the completed job.

We had a little time and had my daughter here with us today and I was off sooo just decided to drive up to Bristol for a trip down memory lane....

Not much business there as we were the only car for over 40 minutes then a truck pulled up. The blue circles I remember had girls sitting on the bench and hot rods circling the building LOL.... guess those days are gone

If I remember correctly, there is a Blue Circle logo painted on a building on Wall Avenue between Market Square and Gay Street. Next time I am in Knoxville, will get a photo.
