I'm coming nowadays to calm the storm. The same people in here that made excuse after excuse for Fulmer and Ainge 8-10 years ago are now ready to cut their losses with Butch and Dobbs.

I tried to tell you back then to fire Fulmer after 2005 and never let Ainge take another snap after that LSU debacle, yet these same Jabronis are now ready to take out the pitch forks on a 3-0 team in 2016. I told you people at the end of 2005 and I will say it again as a reminder... Fulmer and Ainge were going to set this program back 10 years and I have been proven to be correct (yet again). But this isn't about me saying "I told you so". This is about me now asking you Fulmerites and the like to do what you all had wanted the rest of us to do a decade ago. Stand behind your coach and stand behind your team... they need us.

The "LSU debacle" occurred in 2007...his senior year. So you wanted him benched for the bowl game?

After the LSU game, I though Ainge should have been moved to TE....

Fulmer had a bad end like most coaches that get fired but it's not like they let him hang around and lose for years

in 07 you were a solid team

Ainge's LSU debacle was 2005 when he threw that lame duck in the end zone that was picked off for a td. Clausen came in and saved that game.

Ask most fans and they'd go with the 2007 SEC Championship Game interception...2005 was a DEBACLE as a whole. Under Cut, Ainge was a helluva QB.

If I remember the play correctly, he was being pressured, in the end zone, and essentially threw the ball straight up into the air with both hands where it was caught by an LSU defender for a touchdown.

Fulmer's downfall was he stopped being able to recruit elite offensive linemen. It got so bad we were starting walkons at one point. Ironically that was Dooley's strength. Ainge was never the problem. We had plenty of talent in Fulmer's last few years at every position except the oline. Same problem this year.

As for setting the program back 10 years, thats a direct result of bad coaching hires. Kiffin and then a coach with a losing record at Louisiana Tech! Pathetic!

If I'm not mistaken there's a reason "Rasputin" is in him username... came back from the dead, i.e. another username.

Now we just need OrangeSquare to join the party. He and "he who shall not be named."
