Jennings: We just took it to 'em, man. We didn't talk any, we just played the game.

Reporter: Jauan, was it tough to be quiet when they were talking for so long? Was it tough not to fire back on Twitter, or say somethin'?

Jennings: Not at all. I have no Twitter. I don't need to do that. I play football. I don't tweet.

Jauan Jennings isn't a wide receiver, he isn't a former quarterback, he's a damn football player. He's the guy that every coach in this country wants on their team. By the time he leaves here he will talked about in the same sentence as Casey Clausen, Al Wilson, Travis Stephens etc. he really does give his all.

Jennings is a good football player because he has a little dog in his fight. He is chippy on the field and I like it. He doesn't quit.

^^^THIS^^^

Jauan has a personality that is infectious. He wants to win more than any kid I have ever seen or been around. No matter where you put him on the field, he will be successful, because he wants it that bad.

Dear lord do you know how rare it is for any college football to not have one single social media account, let alone one of your rising stars on the team at a time that the bitter rival chirps on the internet all off-season?

This kid...young man plays with a competitive edge that has been missing. He had a few drops early in the game but my goodness look at how he responded with his play and held his composure in the post-game interviews.

Plus, he wore GATOR-skin boots to the post game press conference.

Don't think he had any drops early. The five drops in the first half were two from Wolfe, one from Malone, one from Croom, and one from Kamara if my memory is serving me well today.

Great point. I would imagine that there was a threat that Dobbs wouldn't trust his receivers in the 2nd half. Well, he believed in them as we witnessed great playcalling and execution.

I think if he works on his craft, he'll play on Sundays. Maybe not start year one but he'll make it.

Absolutely love the way he plays! He is a leader like the best Vols we have ever seen. He will be a beloved Vol for Life! Every now and then the State of Tennessee produces these guys from Tennessee who are just clutch and tough, and he's one. Definitely one of my favorite Vols!

Tweeting is for...
... the birds.

OR in the case of the 2016 VOLS vs Florida Classic --

Tweeting is what trucks being pulled by ducks do.

The 2016 Gator truck just went tweet tweet tweet, all the way home.

Leader already. Arguably the toughest, most aggressive player on the team. He's a critical player to our success IMO.

Thought there were 6 drops. Not saying JJ had one, don't recall, just thought there were 6, not 5.

Yes. Those were the five drops. Croom was a td where we ended up with no points. Kamara was another td drop, yes I believe he scores on it. The other three were first downs
