I was there in section H. Cold wet and trying to do the math in my head to see if we could get the ball back. Tee was throwing up on the sideline and Wilson kept aggravating his groin injury (I think). Then the fumble. I swear it layed on the ground for an eternity. A few running plays later I had drunk students hugging me. I’ll never, ever forget that game.

Relax buddy. I know what they did that year. I watched every play. We got the ball back with 1:43 and had 5 runs to get in and Henry ended with 197. I wasn’t saying gifted as in lucky. I was using gifted as in a gift from the football gods. Most times you are beat in that situation.

Keep in mind even when we got the ball back, nothing was guaranteed. Tee was ill and not having his best game. Then Henry took over.
