Give me your best effort plan for the fan coming to the WKU game. Where do I park, how do I take part in the Volwalk now, what should I wear, what should I bring to the stadium to enhance the experience, where should I eat. Give me your best itinerary for a noon game.

the Vol Walk will be at 9:45. get there very early to get a good position.

Can't help on parking except say strip area. I'm in parking spot by stadium so not sure where the best public places are now a days.

Orange would nice. No red.:dance2:

i believe the vol walk will now be at 10:45. Watching it near the torchbearer is always a good spot.

good parking for a decent rate ($15 i think) is at a church on 17th and highland, wont miss it if you get off I40 at 17th street and head towards campus.

it doesnt matter what you wear as long as its orange.

good food can be found everywhere and stick to the strip for a younger college crowd or head downtown to the old city to mix it up.

hope this helps!

Last time I went to a game, we parked in a parking garage close to strip, obvisouly plenty of places to eat there. If you don't know where the strip is, just follow the sounds of the bluegrass band playing Rocky Top, it'll lead you right to it.

If you want to stand out amongst the thousands of fans, wear something orange...:good!:

If you're coming down Friday night, go to the Big Orange Blast. Also, Boomsday is on Sunday night as well if you have time to stay the entire weekend.

I've stopped parking at the stadium. I now take a shuttle to the stadium, usually the one that runs from Farragut high school. It's 10.00 round trip. Considering what you will pay for parking at the stadium, that's a hell of a deal! Usually they run shuttles constantly starting 3 hours before kickoff and the final shuttle runs about 1 hour before kickoff.

Cheaper parking if you go downtown. In fact, we parked for free last year in the State St. garage. There is only one color to wear - ORANGE!!
