I am apologizing to all the posters I called out for being negative, and who were seriously questioning the ability of our coaching staff.

I apologize to you guys for being wrong. I may have been overly disparaging to you for your attitude after the Oklahoma game, in not giving the coaching staff the benefit of the doubt. Please forgive me for not realizing what I was saying was wrong.

You were correct in saying that our boys were/are playing their butts off, but our coaching severely limited their abilities to win a ball game. YOU WERE RIGHT, I WAS WRONG.

Now I will STFU, and listen to you guys, bc apparently you know way freaking more than I do.

Edit: Yes this deserves a new thread. A whole lot of you should be apologizing as well.

I just want to know what I did to make the football gods so angry.

You really do have to wonder what is going on. We've lost in more screwy ways the past several years than I can count. If things really do even out over time, we've got multiple championships coming.

Well, I'm back to "hoping" to win again like the past 2 years instead of being confident of a win. I feel like turning my 3 UGA tickets back but since I've already spent $2k to fly to TN, rental car, & hotel I'm going to at least enjoy the trip and the fans. It's darn disheartening.:frown:

Brother (or sister) I feel your pain. I live in Florida and paid a ton for Oklahoma tickets. After that close loss I decided to try for a few more games, as I truly believed that we were on the correct path. After tonight, I realized I threw money to the wind.

If you are rich and feel sorry for me, pay me to buy mediocre tickets. Thanks a lot. :good!:

The crazy thing is the coaching staff is one called play away from winning the game. If butch could figure out how to make the gutsy game winning call when it mattered, he would be a great coach.

But where are the gutsy calls. I mean how close to the Ok game were the calls today? When it was all on the line and we should have called a two point conversion, or we run and run and run, all in a hurry up offense. Dear God, it was right there, it was so obvious. It was almost a perfect rendition of the Ok game

I've got 4 tickets to the Georgia game as well... I'm begging and pleading with the wife to sale them, but she "wants to take the kids..."

It's borderline child abuse to make them set through a Butch Jones 4th quarter...

He is scared to lose. And you don't win coaching like that.

That's the thing though. He should have been 15 plays away from losing the game. Fl should not have been in it. I know I am not a coach, and I am not trying to say I can out coach them, but I it was a horribly called game.

I meant that I wish you had been right with your defense of CBJ and staff.

Got ya, sorry depression is affecting me tonight. I disarm bombs/IEDs, and anything that can explode, and trying to be an optimistic fan is way more stressful.

I think they called a good game thru 3 quarters. If you told anyone they could have a 10 point lead in the 4th in the swamp, they would take it. But the play calling goes to conservative and the defense looks lost on big plays late. The ast coaches are a big problem but at the end of the day the blame has to rest on butch.

Looks EXACTLY like the OK game.

Edit: Yes capital letter make it look better.
