I loved CJHs response!

LSU was a solid win for sure we crushed them but they weren't really any good that year.
Man?

They were 10-4 dude.

We were lucky to get them at noon because they couldn’t find their arses with both hands.

Oh, and also their QB at the time just took the R*dskins to the playoffs.

The WASHINGTON R*DSKINS!!

Snaps from center have been dog crap. That has to be cleaned up
There were only 2 bad snaps. The fumbled snap was by the backup. There was a questionable snap early that looked like the center snapped it early trying to catch ETSU offsides as a d-lineman jumped. That snap luckily hit JA right in the hands. There weren't any bad snaps last week.

He is focusing on next week and improving on that one. I think he wants to get the Georgia monkey off his back and is feeling it this year.
I just hope we can keep it within 10pts and not drop out of the top 25.

it would have been easy to say good things but when asked he pointed out the flaws that need fixing! that was the most Saban thing I've ever heard and I LOVE it!

I always get so worried having these cupcake games before a huge SEC game because the jump in the level of competition is stark but CJH is not letting them forget!

“I’m going to be honest, I thought we were really sloppy at times,” said Heupel. “There’s a lot that we need to clean up. We need to play better. That’s in some of our targets, our perimeter screen game, our execution in the pass game. There’s a lot to improve on….Second half, we’ll define what we’re about. We need to come out and execute and play better than we did.”

CJH was clearly not happy with Joey about his TD pass to Matthews. Looked like he was telling him, "you can't do that next week".

I don't have a count but on several replays I saw Aguilar account for the bad snap and either reach for the ball or move to catch it. At least once it messed up a subsequent handoff.

yeah but they still lost 4 games and got destroyed by Georgia in the SECCG. they were only ranked 25 when we played them.

and I don't think a Tennessee fan would call that a huge road win compared to a win in Tuscaloosa or Gainesville or Athens. Those are coveted wins no matter what.
I would agree but then we would both be wrong. LSU was a huge road win and I am a Tennessee fan.

I honestly don’t like these games. They are charity for smaller schools, and for that reason I believe they are necessary.

Going into Death Valley and getting a win is always huge. Practically by definition. Same as beating Bama at their place, Florida in the Swamp, and UGA in Athens.

We may not have played them every year while you were growing up as we did the others, but they're still one of the blue bloods of our conference. You beat one of the stalwarts of the SEC in their house, and it's huge. Up year or down year.

And I'm a Tennessee fan, too. Scoot over, Willis. Heh.

Go Vols!

There were more than two.

Also there was at least one last week as well. May have been more but one effected the play.

He’s right that won’t be a TD vs SEC competition. Merk’s pass to Brazzell also will be a problem if he throws that kind of pass vs Georgia.

I'm talking about getting a road win against Bama or Florida (or Georgia next year).
They have been a 4 loss team ever since Kelly took over the program. Somehow, every pre-season they are a top 10 team. Every postseason, they are a 4 loss team.

I expect winning his first opening game will launch LSU to a 3 loss team this season.

All SEC road wins are big.
I don’t care about records, winning in Baton Rouge, Gainesville, Athens, Starkville, they are all big and we better learn to appreciate them again.

Josh knows that the time is now for us to begin to establish ourselves as more than a upper mid tier SEC program if we're ever going to get to that next level. We are now competing for 4- and 5-star recruits and getting our share of them, the facilities and resources here are second to none, so it's time for our on-field play to reflect that growth in stature.

His media sessions so far this year make it very clear that 8-4, 9-3 with losses to UGa and Bama every year will no longer be acceptable here, and there will be no taking this as the "rebuilding" year many fans and the media seem to believe it is. And there will be no moral victories - playing the big boy schools 'close' can no longer be acceptable, even if it is to many fans still wallowing in our recent history, as if that has a single f***king thing to do with this year.

The next step is to take this mindset and get the results it demands. That all starts this Saturday at 3:30.

Reminded me of Johnny Majors. We could be up 52-0 at the half.. with 500 yards of offense and CJM would say "well.. we've got a lot of room for improvement.. i've saw several things that we need to tighten up."

I don't blame him! he has 2 big monkeys to get off his back. #1 beat UGA and #2 get a big time road win in the SEC.

it starts next week and nothing is telling me we can't also beat Bama or Florida on the road this year.
He's had big time road wins in the SEC, thats not a monkey
