Neyland Stadium. I love the way you make me feel when I walk towards you on a Saturday in the fall. I love the sounds that I hear when I'm sitting in my seat cheering the team that I love.

I love the orange and white. I love the fact that you can recognize a Vols fan a mile away just by the color he is wearing.

I love Rocky Top. I love singing it. I love hearing it. I love that other teams hate it.

And I love the Tennessee Volunteers. Good and bad years, wins and loses, I love the Vols.

That will never change. Sometimes I have to remind myself they bring me more happiness than grief.

I wouldn't kick Neyland Stadium out of bed for eating crackers. Big stadiums need love too.

While watching the cocks whip bamma I had to keep reminging my wife who was who. So many teams have the same basic color scheme. It is so boring and unimaginative.
Not to mention there are 2 bulldogs and 2 tigers in the conference alone.

It is so nice to be one of a kind.
There is only ONE Tennessee Volunteers and nobody mistakes us for someone else.

Great post, Volly...couldn't agree more. We take wins for granted and get spoiled as a fan base, but when you get down to brass tacks, being a VOL fan is hard to beat!!

EVERYTHING IN THIS POST IS FULL OF WIN!!! I feel the same.

I also think it is sad that some people take for granted the ability to go to every home game while a true, diehard Vol fan such as myself doesn't get to go as often. I'd LOVE to be at every single game at THE best stadium in the country!!! You won't find me sitting on my hands, giving a golf clap. Heck to the no!!!
