All of the pressure is on FL to blow us out. If we are in it at halftime then there will be a 2nd half to remember. If it rains then it truly is up in the air. I have been to games at the Swamp, and at Neyland, and when it rains it is usually followed by an avalanche of manhood-robbing points by one team.

One of my best experiences at a TN game was in '92 when a torrential downpour happened at Neyland, and Mose Phillips ran 60+ yards for a touchdown. My brother and I were on the far side of the field, and we had to wait to hear the crowd from the other side before we knew that he scored. That broke open a 7-7 game and we went on to win 42-14 I believe. Just trying to hold on to a little of the past hoping history will repeat itself.

I agree with your point about being in the game at halftime. The longer we can keep it close the better chance of getting the W at the end. We can't afford to spot Florida any points. I would feel really good going into the half in a 7 or 3 point ballgame.

If it's close Fla will have to be careful about self distructing trying to turn a closely fought game into a blowout. I'll take a interception for touchdown by our defense just as easily as a Bryce Brown 90 yrd touchdown run/

The fans wants a blow out. I'm pretty sure that the UF football team just wants to win.

Tebow, Spikes, Stamper, Haden, the Pounceys, all these upperclassmen know that winning is the most important thing. That Ole Miss game still looms large in that locker room.

As a life long fan of UT football with some comon since, I do not expect to win this game.Yes I know anything can happen, the past has shown us that over and over, but don't count on it this time. Lets just go out there and give it our best and hope to make it a damn fine football game. Go VOLS!!!!!

Our Defense is too good to get blown out...let the experts say what they will say but this ball game comes down to the O-Line giving our dumba*s QB enough time to make good decisions and whether or not he can execute and throw crisp clean passes without staring down his target. I would love nothing more than to see Crompton come out on fire just to prove people like me who think he should have transferred his football scholarship into a cheerleading one wrong!!! I know the kid loves UT and I am glad he does, but I would rather see him at the base of a pyramid with the other guy cheerleaders holding up all those sexy lil Vol Faithful girls than out on the field trying to lead our team...just my opinion tho...:neener2:

Yes Indeed. Tennessee has Florida right where they want them. :whistling:

You hope. Even Tebow has revenge on his mind, apparently, trying to support his coach. I don't think he will be satisfied with just a win. Actually, I think that's what all the frenzy is about - there is a sense that the players want a blowout and the media is feeding on it like I've never seen. Dangerous ground.
