Lane Kiffin took time out to visit classrooms today. He just popped in and made surprise visits to players classes including Eric Berry and Darryl Vereen. What a great way to remind the players how important academics are to a good athletic career. Kiffin cares, and I like that. I think there will not be one bit of a team chemistry problem and Tennessee should start breaking out, welcome back Tennessee Football. GO VOLS!!!!

I really wish we didn't have so many message board bullies that feel the need to tell everyone that their posted subject has already been posted or feel the need to write "merge". Not sure about anyone else, but I certainly don't have all day to search through the thousands of subjects on this board just to make sure I don't piss off the few that get irritated by seeing something repeated. Get over yourselves.

right on, not everyone can be on this board 24/7. i guess it is good for those people to finally feel relevant after all these years. The net can make anyone feel important.

And I don't have all day (well maybe I do) to search through multiple threads about the same subject like other boards have. The reason VN is such a great forum is because it's not like the others.

It's not about being a bully but rather having enough sense to use the features available to make this a better place for all to visit.

Maybe you should get over your selfish attitude.

I typed in "Kiffin and class" in the search feature and found several threads about this year's recruiting class, and nothing relating to this thread's subject matter. Also, please note that I believe in the Father, (Monte) The Son, (Lane) and the Holy "O'st", do promise to correct any typo or grammatical errors, and swear never to use the term "guru" wihout the expressed written consent of the VN. So help me Monte.

I agree wholeheartedly.
Expecting people to log on, and then to do a freaking background check before they post something is stupid. Merging makes the threads upwards of 40-50 pages long...

Sports are my escape from a stressful world. Too many times fellow Vols fans are too rude to each other over repeat posts and "merge" items. I am not being selfish, just simply standing up and saying quit being so freaking mean. We are all Vols fans. If you see a repeat post, don't read it.

There have been times to where there was a thread already started, and near the top of the page in plain sight, yet people wouldn't take the time to notice, and automatically started a new thread.

It makes for a cleaner board, and also helps to be able to keep more threads relevant on page 1 rather than having 4 thread of the same subject on page 1.

The search function is easy and a time saver...
