He has hired very good coaches, he has kept most of the recruits, he's added some others, and he has not stuck his foot in his mouth once (IE the previous idiot). I am awaiting to be awed by the DC coach hire!! Go get em Dooley. P.S. All offensive lineman and Defensive lineman recruits need to apply for a job. We have openings and are just about to get this party started up in here!!! GO VOLS!:bow2:

Plus we are getting some good pub right before signing day on scout. Two positive breaking news things are on the board. Honor roll athletes at UT, and 2 hires of some very good coaches. Keep the momentum going!:rock:

I will support our coach, whoever he is, however it makes it a little easier when I'm not having to defend him all the time.

and on point, I'm on board.

The coaching staff looks good.

I'm a little apprehensive of the DC, but CDD has impressed to this point.

The DC needs to be great. Not a big name, necessarily, but a great DC come September.

I am too guys! I'm loving how our staff is coming together and if you just take a few min's to kind of skim over each individual who we have I mean we are really looking good!

I think our DC is a homerun as well. I can feel it and that along with Chuck Smith getting hired as our DL coach, I have a good feeling about our future.

Look, he has to be one of the smartest coaches out there(you do not just apply and get into UVA). He is personable, and seemingly very organized. IF he can coach on gameday, we are SO much better off than we were a few weeks ago it is not even funny. And I was one of those that thought the sky was falling......

I think We are gonna be just fine with CDD...I really like his attitude and the respect he shows the traditions at UT...We may have found ourselves a real winner.

It's not as flashy as the previous staff, but I really think we were just trying to pump up the nation with those hires. These might not be flashy, but they are solid hires.

I think he took that to the recruiting also.

CLK said it was important to have the #1 class. To have that, you need to focus on the 5* and 4*, not necessarily the guys you need, or guys you evaluate as best.

I'm not saying the stars don't matter. I'm saying I would recruit the best players that fit our scheme, want to play for us, and that we have evaluated as the best talent.
