I learned something new today.gif

While concerts are an interesting experience, the distorted music, deafening volume and shear numbers of ****ed up people made me realize why I stopped going years ago. Disturbed is playing the Bridgestone on 2/17. Would really like to see them but I am hoping I can go in a more controlled lower key environment.

This is why I like the smaller venues like the Tennessee. Ima boomer.

That is why you need to go see Cannibal Corpse. The majority of their fans are classy people like me. Going to see them again in NC during the early part of May.

I hate people telling me to sit down at a rock concert, especially when the people in front of me are standing.
The ONLY idiot in the entire section 301 that was standing was right in front of me. I don't know what kind of convoluted retardation he was suffering but when you are the only person in an entire section that is upper deck nose bleed that is doing that dumb ****, you need to go elsewhere. His buddy next to him was acting like he was passing out. Laying all over the seats around him and leaning his head back against our knees. Sit the **** down.

I saw Jimmy Buffett play Stokley after the Vols won a football game in the 70s. He wore a Tennessee jersey, #15 if I remember correctly.

When I attended The Rolling Stones concert at Grant Field, everyone in field level seats stood atop their chairs throughout the performance. Yes, I had field level seats.

Yeah Gordo, we like Weezer why do you think we don't? You're weird, nothing in this thread suggests we don't like Weezer.

I attended one of his concerts at Starwood. Paid to park and enjoyed the show from the parking lot. No d-bags anywhere until after the show.
