I have been a notorious Dobbs hater for a while now. I have disliked him as a starting QB, I have blamed him for the Vandy loss, and all around I have always considered him a terrible football player.
I have had several posters (mostly sjt) say things like "What's your problem with Dobbs?" and "Did Dobbs piss you off on a personal level or something?" because of how often I've expresses my utter disdain for him.
I was wrong, my football credibility should be completely removed until further notice. Dobbs is a baller. He is a winner. He has heart, fire, the ability to keep his cool in high pressure situations, he runs better than any QB I've seen since as far back as I can remember, his throwing is improved a million times over, and he is the future of this football program.
I no longer have concerns about our QB situation next year, we will be one of the best in the SEC at many positions next year, including QB.

At least you're consistent, you b!tch about everybody.
I will never understand how some fans write off a player only 6 starts into his college career. Not everybody comes in and sets the world on fire. Some players actually give effort and actually improve over the course of their career
Do I? Provide examples please.
I admit to griping about:
Josh Dobbs (I was wrong)
Josh Smith (I was wrong)
Justin Coleman (I am 150% justified)
Devrin Young (also justified)
Now there's a long way to go to from those 4 to "everybody" so start with your first example whenever you're ready.
Yes indeedy, we have some fine examples here of people who know how to be gracious in victory.
Well, not victory; greeting the return of the prodigal son maybe, but geeze Louise, don't you guys get tired of hearing yourselves say "I told you so"?
--and that goes for both sides: the Negavols AND the True Fans.
Good luck in finding success in work, relationships, and child-rearing with that attitude. :zeitung_lesen:

.... though UF is still alive in the race.
Technically, we are still alive in this race as well. Unless I misunderstand something about the tiebreaker, "all" we have to do is win out ... AND ...
Vandy and SC beat FL,
Mizzou loses to TA&M and Arky,
UGA loses to AUB and KY,
then we get the tiebreaker over Mizzou.
Easy, right?![]()
