I know a lot of people on here don't like him but

CPF played while I was a student. I'll always feel that he remained a VOL, even if he lost some of the humility we hoped to see in our coach so that we could believe that he was "just like us". Let's face it - becoming a millionaire doing something you love, even if it is teaching kids to play a game, can change a man - some times for the better, some times not.

HBD CPF. May ADMH get his comeupins soon...

An argument is a discussion of at least two differing opinions. That wasn't an opinion, its a fact.

Really dude? Seriously, don't be that guy, you know what I meant. Most people say Phil bleeds orange, some argue that he doesn't.

As George Carlin might say, "Congratulations Phil, you're an old f#%k now!" lol
Happy Birthday coach!

Growing up in the 90's, CPF and the VOLS were the highlight of my year... Hate the way it ended for him (I agree it was time) but at least we'll always have the season of '98! Happy Birthday Coach!

between two donuts!!

Hilarious and super original! You are insinuating that Phil Fulmer enjoys eating perhaps a little too much! And a "donut" reference! Strikingly cutting-edge. Satire at its most incisive.

I am glad he is no longer the coach - new blood was definitely needed - but those who bag on Phil relentlessly are no better than Gator or 'Bama fans. Fulmer is as die-hard a Vol as has ever existed.

Happy Birthday, big guy. Go Big Orange.

Went to school with his daughter Brittany. He came to pick her up sometimes and always seemed like a nice guy in person. I believe he loves UT and always will. Happy B-Day Coach!

I appreciate everything Phil did for the university but it was past time for him to go, that's the only grudge I held against him. Hope he lives a long and happy life from here on out.
