I think a lot of ppl don here do like him, but i've been on here numerous times and seen so many ppl put him down, I grew up watching him, and honestly *besides Neyland* he'll always be my favorite coach in ut history, CDD can win 5 national titles and Phil will still be my favorite. JMO.

I think he is still All Vol through and through, to the core, bleeds orange, or however you wish to phrase it. He is just bitter at a select few people, as Coach Majors was and still is, but that is just the nature of this wonderful, wonderful beast we all call College Football. I started going to the games in the mid 70's(when I was a young punk) and I am pretty sure (we will watch the tape to be sure) Phil did give me some of my favorite times with Tennessee Football. I'm not in any way discounting some of the good times under Johnny(yes, there were a few). Happy B-Day Coach.
