I said when we played Florida... I had a feeling that I haven't had in a long while. That feeling was just overwhelming to me. It's back this week when it hasn't been in 2 weeks. We will beat Alabama this weekend. I don't care what the stats say. I don't care what the giant talking heads say. I don't how banged up we are.

Team 120 is going to win Saturday. They might not win by alot... But they WILL win. Bama has only had one tough opponent who pulled ahead early then fell flat again. I think we've shown it doesn't matter what happens to us... We aren't going to be falling flat at the end. That team fights with every ounce of energy in their bodies and with an indomitable spirit that won't be overcome or overworked.

I don't care how few times they've lost in the past decade, they are not invincible. Our team knows that. Our team won't be afraid of them. Team 120 plans to plant their flag on Alabama's chest Saturday and tell the cfb world "WE'RE HERE... WE HAVE ONLY JUST BEGUN"

GBO! WTFA!

(anybody else getting that just... Unique feeling that is only followed by a win?)

Man, I love it! I really hope your feeling is enough to override mine and we get the W.

But no, I'm not feeling that feeling.

I'm with you OP. Before the FL game I was actually not nervous because I was confident in a win and not cautiously optimistic like I had been the previous 2 years. I feel the same way about Saturday.

And I hate Bama.

Props to you guys.

I actually had a dream last night we were playing bama on some crazy, un-named field in Tuscaloosa, and the field was at a literal 45 degree angle, and we were forced to drive the ball up the hill against bama's defense.

It was nuts.

What I'm trying to say is, I don't think my subconscious feels very good about our chances. Hope I'm wrong though, of course.

I've got a very good feeling about this Game! Team 120 has no quit, and this game will be played by them knowing this win could mean they go to the playoffs. So they are gonna play their hearts out just like all season, but this time for 4qtrs and they pull a upset by 10! GBO!!

A&M grad here .....

I don't have permission to start a new thread on this forum, so I decided to just put this post here.

Last Saturday's game between the Aggies and Volunteers was an instant SEC classic.
Both teams gave everything they had, and the Vols showed why they are a Top 10 team.

I met MANY Tennessee fans at the game and every single one of them were awesome.
I can tell you that every Aggie was glad to have y'all as our guests.

Tennessee is a first class university, football team, and fan base.
I hope the Vols beat the hell outta Alabama in Knoxville on Saturday!!!!!!

Gig Em & Go Vols!

Has that feeling ever not worked out? Say once in the prior 10 years?

Just curious how real your feelings are.

It is an extremely rare feeling my friend. It happened for Georgia last year, and before that I honestly can't tell you the last time I had it. Like a premonition...I just feel it. I hope this weekend isn't one where my gut is wrong.

Soon as the second half of A&M started I "knew" the game was going into OT..didnt know if we would win or not..but I just had that feeling, that I knew game was OT bound. EVERYone I was watching the game with told me there was no way..Then it happened.

But I have same feeling as the OP..just have this feeling like I know we are taking Bama down..one way or another, the vols find a way to win.

Jennings and Kamara will have huge games, and get it done.

Imagine the scores of the last 3 games with no mistakes. If we play mistake free football, no one in the country can hang with us

I was there when we beat em in 1982, after several years of losing to em. One of my battered-Vol-syndrome friends said, oh no, we'll never beat The Bear.

But I too had a feelin ... and we sure did!

Had it before Florida. Even had it at halftime of Florida. Was worried about UGA. Was worried about A&M.

Bama, we win.

I had it down big to UGA and Florida. But from day 1 I never thought we beat A&M.

I said start of the year to many friends and places on this forum, A&M beats us, and then we beat bama because we match up against them far better because of Sabana's inability to stop a great running QB. If we get 2nd half of any game dobbs for even 3 quarters, we win this game by 10 or so because they will be shell shocked from it.
