Dooley had a freshmen line in 2010 and made a bowl game
Hopefully Jones can do the same
Jones recruited 75% of this line
Again, We saw the same issues with a senior line playing in the NFL now
You sound retarded. Based on what you're saying, this line could also have 3 guys make an NFL roster next year as well???
If they played the same, it must be what the NFL wants right?
We cannot run the ball against UTC, that was not the case last season
Were any of the 5 or 6 sacks allowed attributed to back up running backs in for the entire game?
Doesn't matter, it's the coaches fault.
Did both Whorley and Peterman keep the read option like so many have suggested and score?
Doesn't matter we still have QB's that don't scare anyone. Woo hoo we ran the read option against an FCS school.
Didn't UT rest most of its skilled position players to ensure they were healthy when most needed?
This 5 TD win felt like a 5 TD loss. We coulda and shoulda hung 100 on UTC even with back ups playing.
Fire the coaches!
WE ARE TENNESSEE damnit

One of these days you guys will understand its a business and coaches will say anything to keep the masses happy
Or maybe one day people will stop complaining and start actually critically thinking. If I have followed you correctly, your point is that the exact same plays called last year are being called this year. Why don't we wonder why that might be.
My thoughts are that a new playbook coupled with extremely green and not so talented skill players made the coaches dial back the playbook last year.
This year we have more talented skill players, yet they are still extremely green. Add to the fact that two of the offensive lineman are freshman, you are looking at 5 true freshman starting, a true freshman as the back-up tight end, and arguably our best wide receiver in Pearson being a first year player. So with all those new bodies, of course they are going to have to dial back the playbook to the basics. That's why it looks very similar to last year.
Even with that said, I have still seen more creativity this year than last year when it comes to play calls. You may not see it the way I see it, and maybe it's because your agenda is blinding you. So before you make blanket statements, just think about some of these things.
Well, you better tell all those people saying our offense was vanilla to save the playbook for better opponents
Again, you guys need to read further into the thread
I said the play calling was the same with an experienced line as what we have seen with an inexperienced line
We still went 5-7 last year and the plays were basically the same as we see now. No innovation, no change, no different scheme for each opponent to attack their weakness

Last years line was in their first year in the system. They weren't experienced within the system. Just like this years oline having all new starters in a system they have never ran in a game. Of course the play calling is going to be similar, It's the same offense in it's second year with all new starters on the oline.
Your argument just doesn't work. You have no idea what kind of game plan CMB has for each opponent and how all new starters on the oline for the second year in a row have effected the play calling.
