I hope the Bajakian hate is going to die down now

Dooley had a freshmen line in 2010 and made a bowl game

Hopefully Jones can do the same

23 freshman have played so far this year, the most in FBS, and I can only imagine how it compares to UT history. Most definitely not the case for Dooley that year.

Those 2010 freshmen were a lot more talented than our current oline freshmen. Look at their recruiting profiles.

Bajakian called a pretty good game game against UGA last year. Just didn't see adjustments against the FLA defense this year. I just can't tell if the O line play prevents effective adjustments from being made or if the coaching is absent.

Tennessee fans have been hating on coaches for too many years now. You think a victory over UTC is gonna change that?

Look the guy has won everywhere he's been. He didn't get stupid just cause he's at UT. When he tries something different he's dumb. When he calls plays that players screw up he's an idiot. When we win by 40 he sucks!! Give me a break!!!

Who cares if you bunch of coach potatoes don't like the play calls? I'll tell you who....other coach potatoes.

Jones recruited 75% of this line

How long has Butch been here man? Come on now. Two true freshmen are STARTING and thats THE 40% Butch recruited. Who could do better than Butch and Co to have the #3 class for 15 and top 10 his first full class with the on field results of late and what was left in the cupboard. Nobody wanted to inherit this and Butch not only signed up but is stockpiling talent and establishing a program. It takes a few years if you have a normal situation. Butch walked in to a Snafu and yet has already beat a top 10 team and has shown he can develop talent. I have been watching this whole deal and am tired of hearing next year. But we now have tangible evidence that it is actual fact. If two years from now we are not competing for SECCs I will then change my tune, if recruiting holds. But he needs a good 3-4 years to get this terrible situation turned around.

Again, We saw the same issues with a senior line playing in the NFL now

You sound retarded. Based on what you're saying, this line could also have 3 guys make an NFL roster next year as well???

If they played the same, it must be what the NFL wants right?

We cannot run the ball against UTC, that was not the case last season

I said the play calling was the same with an experienced line as what we have seen with an inexperienced line

We still went 5-7 last year and the plays were basically the same as we see now. No innovation, no change, no different scheme for each opponent to attack their weakness

Were any of the 5 or 6 sacks allowed attributed to back up running backs in for the entire game?

Doesn't matter, it's the coaches fault.

Did both Whorley and Peterman keep the read option like so many have suggested and score?

Doesn't matter we still have QB's that don't scare anyone. Woo hoo we ran the read option against an FCS school.

Didn't UT rest most of its skilled position players to ensure they were healthy when most needed?

This 5 TD win felt like a 5 TD loss. We coulda and shoulda hung 100 on UTC even with back ups playing.

Fire the coaches!

Or maybe one day people will stop complaining and start actually critically thinking. If I have followed you correctly, your point is that the exact same plays called last year are being called this year. Why don't we wonder why that might be.

My thoughts are that a new playbook coupled with extremely green and not so talented skill players made the coaches dial back the playbook last year.

This year we have more talented skill players, yet they are still extremely green. Add to the fact that two of the offensive lineman are freshman, you are looking at 5 true freshman starting, a true freshman as the back-up tight end, and arguably our best wide receiver in Pearson being a first year player. So with all those new bodies, of course they are going to have to dial back the playbook to the basics. That's why it looks very similar to last year.

Even with that said, I have still seen more creativity this year than last year when it comes to play calls. You may not see it the way I see it, and maybe it's because your agenda is blinding you. So before you make blanket statements, just think about some of these things.

Well, you better tell all those people saying our offense was vanilla to save the playbook for better opponents

To be honest, I don't really care what those other people thought. In fact my whole post had nothing to do with them, but rather it had to do with the points you have continuously made throughout this thread. I also don't really get what your response to mine really means, since it doesn't really have anything to do with my post. I would have rather you had just addressed my points since you are so vocal about the coaches.

Not sure if serious...

You are melting from the Sunshine Count.

It won't be until late next year when the Sunshine will fade away and people will realize there's truth to this.

Last years line was in their first year in the system. They weren't experienced within the system. Just like this years oline having all new starters in a system they have never ran in a game. Of course the play calling is going to be similar, It's the same offense in it's second year with all new starters on the oline.

Your argument just doesn't work. You have no idea what kind of game plan CMB has for each opponent and how all new starters on the oline for the second year in a row have effected the play calling.

I am not sure about your contributions but people constantly making excuses might want to brush up on their critical thinking as well.

If you are determined to make excuses you can always find a way... and the end result is that you keep losing and no one is ever held accountable for anything... cause there's always a "reason" they couldn't get it done.

If you all were more balanced then maybe some wouldn't feel the need to only point out the "negative".

Here's something you should be able to agree with even if you think they inherited a tough situation and have worked hard (but failed) to overcome it... This staff has had two full off-seasons to come up with a solution better than the one we see. I think we have good reason to question the product based on that.

Perpetual excuse making has the stench of failure on it...

You have two years to teach someone a system... they should be able to grasp a good portion of it.

Not at all . 4.9 yards rushing and very few sacks. No problem at all with last years line

If we could get them together with this years QB and WR play ..we would be unstoppable
