I know I'm the only one that wants this but I really hope Dooley is the coach next year and I believe he will be. Just so he can prove every last one of you wrong. Nothing would thrill me more than listen all the wonderful people on volnation b**** and complain for another season because everyone on here is so knowledgeable about football, the university of tennessee, everybody knows every donor, not to mention have all the inside information and hell y'all still believe that Gruden is going be our blessed coach. I really don't even know why I waste my time. Go Coach Dooley! Go VOLS!!!

Another mediocre season? I don't think so. I was in the same boat as you until miss state. He's a hell of a guy, just not a good coach.

if everyone on here is whining next year it will be because UT is losing. So you want UT to prolong the misery just so you can say you're right about Dooley being retained for one more year?

I doubt that when Dooley was hired, every Vol fan wanted him to fail. To take that further, I don't think anyone wants him to fail now. His record speaks for itself right now though.

His record speaks for itself. I like Dooley. I don't like 0-13 vs ranked opponents and losing to EVERY rivalry that we have. It is truly unfortunate.

If I'm right people would still be whining. Winning won't stop that. I'm not wanting to prolong UT misery. I am as much of a fan of the big orange as anyone probably more but I believe that we will win with Dooley as our head coach.

*Worst Defense over 6 games since 85 ish (on track to be the worst since 1893)
*Proven consistant loser over TWO HC jobs.
*Work like heck attitude

Do you need any more proof.... Dooley will get it done... just not at UT.. Not at a SEC school.

he has proven over and over again.

Obviously you haven't seen the schedule for next year. He's not going proving anybody wrong.

where is the proof and when does the winning start ?
he resume and his time at Tenn is the proof that says he wont get it done.
If Tn only played FCS schools then Dooley is your man for this job.

If Dooley ends up winning any important games for the rest of his career, it is either luck, or it is the talent level of his team. To his credit, he has built good depth and talent here, but that isn't enough in the SEC.
