Yes there was some clashing of helmets on that play, but man that was old school football and I’m glad they kept the flags in their pockets. I think it’s the hardest head on collision I’ve seen all year. Pretty sure both guys saw stars. JJ got up and grinned and kept going at um. JJ is our hero but that line backer was a bad dude to. All in all I felt like the refs did a pretty good job last night.Absolutely agree!
Agree with you. JJ rocked him backwards too.Reminded me of the Tebow vs Berry collision a few years back. Great football by both players.Yes there was some clashing of helmets on that play, but man that was old school football and I’m glad they kept the flags in their pockets. Not to be argumentative...but targeting may not be in play because he was a runner and not defenseless or completing a catch.Absolutely on two fronts.... defender dropped his head and made contact with the crown of his helmet AND his primary point of contact was Jennings head. I was screaming at the tv and that candyarse Rogers to sthu since both announcers were fawning over how jj got rocked by a man. Never once mentioned it was targeting. How the upstairs replay didn’t at least stop play to review is beyond me...
JJ showed what kind of dog his is and definitely gave his all for Tennessee today.
