I have never seen a fan base so near soiling themselves in fear!

Lets all face it. UF beat us by 10 points with a QB that could'nt pass a football into the ocean. I think Florida fans know that UT'S D tipped everybody in the country on ways to stop UF offense.

Like others, I disagree with your labeling CLK a jerk. I'll attribute that gaffe with your attempting to have a lucid conversation with a gator fan; that alone is enough to get one's cerebellum in a wad.

Tennessee got a big moral victory down there and the gator fans can't deal with it!!!

Agreed. Though, Florida still has an advantage playing LSU @ Baton Rouge. LSU has Chavis.

Ok...a little backstory to why I started this thread.

A co-worker and I began talking football at lunch. Well, he is an avid UF fan and insists that Ohio State is the greatest program in the history of CFB. He basically makes out like Meyer and throws a thousand excuses my way as to why UF didn't bash our brains in. I try and argue my point, but like any die-hard UF fan, he ignores everything I said and repeats the exact same BS over and over and over. It was like a never ending cycle of feces slinging. I've never heard so many "yeah, buts" in one conversation in my entire life. I finally told him that we needed to agree to disagree. I got my bagel and PB filled pretzels and left. I was FURIOUS! I thought that maybe I had over-reacted.

So, he stops me as I'm walking down the hall a few minutes later and tries to tell me how Tebow punked Berry. I almost punched him in the nose...and or...testes. I had to show restrain, obviously. But here this: When we are back (2011 anyone?) I'm gonna unleash a crap-spewing tirade the likes of which man has never before witnessed. I have never....EVER ben so fired to be a Vols fan as I am at this exact moment.

Its a good thing I have planning period right now...V,B!

So...Let me get this straight...In 2011, IF you guys finally manage to beat the gators, you're going to go to your friend and "unleash a crap-spewing tirade" because you are now 1-6 against UF in the past 7 meetings. Are you for real?

Yes...I am for real. I've never heard an fanbase so adimately try to defend a win. Its pretty lame.

What ever happened to claiming scoreboard and smiling? You guys think we're pathetic for feeling uplifted by a loss? Ask yourself why you feel the need to back up a battle you won on the field. Its pathetic.

I can't figure out why all you vol fans think that the Florida players and coaches came out ad said "Hey vols, we're going to hang 100 on you." That never happened. The fans wanted a big win, no doubt. The media was predicting a big win, but Meyer and the gators never said a thing about it. You all think UF struggled and pulled out all the stops just to win by 10. The gators literally ran less than 1/4 of the play book. They didn't even try to go down field because they didn't need to. And now oh no! Monte Kiffin gave everyone a blueprint to stop the gator offense. Florida rushed for over 200 yards and hardly even passed the ball. Kiffin was out-coached, and UT was out-played.

Why would Meyer suddenly decide he no longer cared about running up the score when an opposing coach disrespected him? He certainly never thought twice about it before, why would he suddenly decide not to score early and often on the guy who rattled his cage most?

Sorry, you fail......I would say nice try but it was a glaringly feeble attempt.

You are no different than any other UF fan that thinks a 10 point win is everything they've been clamoring about since the day Kiffin arrived. You all wanna point out the Raiders and Kiffin this and Kiffin that.

Fact is, an extremely talent-depleted UT team kept it tight in a game that was all about revenge. You may not have personally said that UF was gonna win by 35+ but you're fan base sure felt that way. If you can't see past all of Urby's excuses, then there's no hope. There's a reason that most outside of the state of FL realize what happened Saturday. Sadly, you are one of those who refuse to accept what happened. You think that your Gators came out did exactly what they wanted to do. Well, they didn't. They were outclassed by a FAR inferior group of players. Why is that? Well, because our guys were coached up. I'm not saying Meyer isn't a great coach...he is, but you all are absolutely pathetic. Again...you're another Gator trying to defend a win that should be thankful you came away. If we have any other QB in the SEC, we're both 2-1 right now. If you can't see that....then yes, you're a moron. Sorry...thats how it is.

Hey just wondering, what exactly did I say that you disagree with and furthermore lead you to call me a moron?

Have the Gators not in the past ran up the score on any team that got under their skin such as them calling timeouts against Georgia last year. So now you are telling me Florida went into a shell to squeak out a victory against Tennessee?

Florida threw everything they had at Tennessee and showed it wasnt much. We are shopping at the same store Florida is for players now so Urbie will have to out coach us in the future not just out- talent us.

Meyer never said he cared about running up the score...Thats what my whole post was about, I don't know why you people think it was his life's goal to run up the score. Did he say that???
Any idiot who's ever watched football before could tell that UF was not even remotely trying to run up the score. For Godsake, we didn't even throw downfield.
Everyone here was so down in the dumps after the UCLA loss, now after you lose by 10 to UF you think your'e back on top. Ohio will be in the game well into the third quarter, wait and see. UT is the same story as last year with a goofier coach.

I watched the game with a Gator fan. They talk of Tim Tebow like a mythical figure. He is like Socrates, Beowulf, Mike Alstott, and that slippery deaf guy from Family Guy all rolled into one. He is smart, fearless, he runs people over, and he slides out of tackles as if he took a bath in KY jelly prior to the game. After several comments by myself bashing Tim Tebow, there was almost a level of anger reached that i had never seen before. Worse than me watching Crompton on any given Saturday. Gator fans are pathetic, self centered, sarcastic pricks that can't stand it when someone talks smack to their face and they can't go out and win by 100 points like they wanted to.

That is one example, and we didn't even run up the score, it just played out that way. The timeout thing was the only "punishment" if you will that Urban tried to inflict on UGA. And to say UF squeaked out a victory is ridiculous, the game was never in doubt and no one thinks it was except for vol fans. If you think Florida threw everything they had at Tennessee, then you my friend are delusional. Florida won this game easily, and they will win next years game in Knoxville easy as well.
