but it is time for the current coaching staff to go.

Not merely because of tonite's loss but the game has evolved and our staff cannot evolve along with it.

I have supported CPF from day one, but no more. I can't and I won't

That was definitely an ugly loss. I dont remember ever seeing a UT defense miss so many tackles, assignments, and have people blow right by them. The lone bright spot was your freshman CB Berry.....he is the real deal.

I am now officially agreeing with you. I have also supported and stood behind Fulmer's administration from the day he took over Johnny Majors job. When he replaced Majors, it was definately the right direction for the program. Over time, the game has obviously passed Fulmer and his staff by. I don't care if we have a roster full of 2 & 3 star players, there is no excuse for this kind of non-discipline. I wipe my hands clean once and for all!!!!:disappointed:

the game has outgrown fulmer and it is time for a new coach... a new younger coach.... if you notice, the majority of coaches who are having success in college football are younger guys in their 40's because they have brought a new style or era to college football that didnt really exist in the 90's and the Fulmers, Bowdens and Carrs of the world cannot adjust to this new era

Unfortunately, i'm beginning to feel the same way after tonight's game. Fulmer is beginning to show that he can't consistently compete with the SEC's current lineup. The SEC is going up while Fulmer and crew have stayed the same.

I'm right there with you Bayou_Vol. I actually thought keeping Fulmer around was the right thing to do. It is clear now that the game has left him and his coaching philosophy behind. The thing that infuriates me is that he is too stubborn to realize it. He still thinks he can run the ball up the middle with success, even after two years of no running game. I'm also sick of the "safe" 5 yard passes. Fulmer will never risk anything in his effort not to lose the game. When you are playing against coaches who don't mind taking a risk when it the situation calls for it, Fulmer will always lose out. The SEC coaching has improved dramatically, Tennessee's coaching hasn't changed a bit. I'm done. I will follow Ga Tech until the current coaching regime is gone.

I feel bad for Fulmer, but I agree, its time.

We will not compete for a championship as long as he is our coach.

i've been a true blue UT fan since i was a student in the 60s. i've also been a supporter of phil. but, after this debacle, i don't know. the crumminess of the defense seems to have infected the offense (one touchdown today), and when the opposing team is going for it on their end of the field on 4th and several, (and they've already got the game in the bag) that shows you how little they respect what was once a feared defense. if phil keeps chavis after this (and i believe he will), i'm going over to the fire phil side.

Go jump on G.T bandwagon, it will be a short ride. I BLEED orange. I will never switch teams. You really suck. We don't want your kind.:machgun:

I won't switch teams, but it should be glaringly obvious to everyone right now what the issue is. I have held my tongue for the longest, but let me officially voice my belief that until this coaching staff is let go, we will not compete for anything other than the Waffle Fry Bowl.

This is the very first time I have said it too, but I am having my doubts now.

I'm not switching teams. If Tennessee went 0-11, I would still bleed orange. That said, I think a coaching change is needed.
