He's already brought in the Big Kat...I just hope he can keep what we have (both on campus and the new commitments).

We are a dumpster fire in free fall at this point - I think Steele will be interim head coach through the 2021 season. Once we can stabilize we might have a shot at decent coach but I don't see anyone wanting to come the Knoxville at this point. We've fired two of the last 3 coaches after 3 seasons and it looks like we sold the program down the river to save the buy out on the last coach. Those are red flags to anyone who is good enough to pick their destination. I'm afraid that if we try to fill the HC position now it will make the last coaching search look good.

I love that Coach Steele is bringing Big Kat with him. That's the kind of Kodiak we need on our defense. Now if we can get a few more young high school Grizzlies and Kodiaks in the next signing period we can turn this around quickly. JPru sure didn't leave the cupboard empty. Things are not as gloomy as some people want to make it appear. We can turn this around very quickly and I am sure we will try like heck to do so. Go VOLS!

Full confidence in Steele? As what? I don't think we know what he is at this point. I could care less about Steele at this point - its not really relevant IMO.

Well, since that is all you know about it, it also had a burger joint at the top of the ramp leading into the J and K sections. It was called the Zoo. I am sure it has been replaced with something more politically correct by now, but it was convenient back then. All I know was when I was there, some idiot who lived somewhere on K-7 used to yell, "HEY! WAKE UP! into the courtyard every night at 1 AM. And that was mild.

I have full confidence that I wonā€™t have full confidence in anyone that gets hired here until they show me full confidence is deserved with a track record at Tennessee of wins, wins and more wins that backs that up.

Recruiting is fine.

We found the program in quite a mess at the time. I think we definitely upgraded the program in general, relationships in general. Relationships period, certainly the recruiting has been good.
