I played two games early this morning.

I thought the gameplay had changed quite a bit. I have an orginal X-Box and rushing was much harder for me, while there didn't appear to be AS MANY WR drops. The third person camera angles on punts, kickoffs and place kicks was pretty neat, and the first TD scored against me, I blocked my first ever extra point. If you use a lineman, you hit A when the ball is snapped to "get a jump" on your defender and then you move toward the QB or kicker.

I like the way the camera zooms in on players when they are making a big catch, or sacking someone, or etc on a big play.

I skimmed most of the features, starting a dynasty already I am into the game.

I did have a chance to watch some of the game intros, and Tennessee has like 4 or 5. As I was moving through them, most other schools looked to have 3. There are some good ones, but for you Rocky Top Whooo Haters, you might not wanna watch!

Not sure what they did with field goal kicking, but it's so easy to block them this year. First game on the XBOX version I blocked one. I blocked 2 last night on the 360 version against Cal.

you guys make me jealous. I had to work late last night and be here early (600am) today so mine is still in the wrapper. I am wondering now that we have a larger test group how the 360 vs XBOX/PS2 versions compare. I upgraded to a 360 over the weekend. I realize some features are left out of one or the other. Just wanting an update on that. Probably should have started a new thread. Feel free to move it if necc. Can't wait to get home and bust out a few games.

Bottom line is that all of the new features like extra slow motion action, low camera angle on kickoffs and campus legend mode are not in the 360. The 360 has a new menu system and much better graphics.

What else am I missing.....

So Freak, do you feel cheated by not having that stuff in the 360 version? Or does the game still kick on the 360?

The game still kicks on the 360. The graphics alone are worth it. Last night while waiting in line at EB Games they had the 360 version and the xbox and ps2 versions set up right next to each other so people could play. Let's just say the 360 version made the others look like NES.

I am very disappointed that they didn't include the other features though. I really liked the Heisman/Big Man on campus mode and I also thought the new camera angle on puts and kick offs was one of the coolest things I have seen. So I do feel cheated somewhat.

i dont see how you guys can win by 50 points so easily.

what level are you on?

btw the game feels so much more fun. the kicking is kind of cool too it will take a little bit to get used to though.

There is alot that I like about this one. I think the defense is a whole lot easier(pass rushing, intercepting). But the spin doesn't work as well nor is it as easy to run the ball.
