For some reason I just can't get a feeling as to what is gonna happen in this game. Part of me thinks we win, the other part of me just thinks we have to many things to overcome to win this one. Usually I have a sense of what to expect, but this game is the first time in a long time that I just have no idea what's going to happen.

Anyone else feel the same way?

I have a great feeling about this game! All week I've had visions of the players dousing Dooley with orange gatorade after the game.

Yep. Just let Bray go out there and be a damn gunslinger.

I feel the same way as the OP. I think that UGA is on a downward trajectory, and the game is at Neyland, so the game is very winnable. But then again, UGA has a ton of talent including a good QB, so it will be a tough hill to climb. I really don't know what to expect.

If Tn doesnt have mental breakdowns on special teams and the def doesnt give up that one big play that they give up ever game I think Tn wins.I think Tn has to be able to run the ball to have any chance.Ga isnt some team thats unstoppable.they have problems to that Tn can expose if they take care of business.

I hate the the word "gunslinger" ever since SI used that word to describe Ryan Leaf as evidence for why he should be drafter ahead of Manning

I'm just commenting to acknowledge the awesome Waynes World quote. I'm going to this game, I'm undefeated in Neyland Stadium. I plan to continue that trend.

Aaron Murray is 1-7 as the starter in games played outside of Athens. Their only win was against Ole Miss this year who Vandy beat by 23 points.

They are starting a Fr. RB and a Fr. WR in front of a sold out Neyland Stadium crowd. I like our chances tomorrow.

Also, I had a strange feeling about the UF game, but after that first possession I knew the game was over, they were just much, much more aggressive. We have to put the ball in Bray's hands and shove it down their throat during the first drive of the game. We cannot force our defense to win this game for us, we HAVE to set the tone, just like UF did against us in the first quarter. We cannot let them score and get confidence like Cincy did because getting on them early the past 2 times they have been to Neyland has allowed us to BLOW THEM OUT with teams of equal or less talent.

I agree that jumping on them quickly will go a long way. I hope we chose to take the ball first if we win the coin flip. Put your best foot forward.

I think this is a game we have to win. UGA is no better than UT as a team, and we're playing at Neyland in front of a sold-out crowd. The team that wants it the most will win. The Dawgs have a more favorable sked than us, so I don't expect us to compete for the East this year, but I do expect us to beat a comparable team at home.

Gonna be a slobberfest for 3 quarters. GA has some talent, but not enough to score big, and not enough to stop Bray. As much crap that has been thrown at our O-line this year, they are pretty solid in pass protection. Bray & Company will have a solid game. Keep up the 3rd down conversion's and by the middle of the 3rd QT, the dawgs will be panting hard.
Our defense found it's grind against UF and will do the same against GA - only better. Ga's only chance in this game is to keep Bray off the field. Crowell is a beast of a runner but a few good licks, and he becomes mediocre. UT takes the game in hand by the middle of the 3rd quarter. And Rod Wilks decleats Marlon Brown in the 4th.:p

I'm with you. We can't get a sense of what will happen because it's been years since we won a meaningful game.

I am not expecting great things tonight.

I'm comforted, however, to know that OCIVol is supremely confident. He is close with the staff AND he is by far one of the best pickers in the weekly pick'em game.
