that CLK is not as tough on these guys off the field as he is on the field. Do not get me wrong, I am all on board with everything the coach is doing to this point. However, if BOTH Nuke and JJ were out doing whatever until 2:00am after both being in the doghouse within the last week, it tells me they have little fear or respect for what the coach will do to them. I hope I am wrong and these two are just plain too stupid to realize what is about to happen to them. You can say Nuke was homesick and JJ violated team rules and did not fight a bouncer but as the saying goes, "where there's smoke, there is fire". When was the last time ongoing issues with a player did not result in their being a major distraction come up with them down the road?

I'm pretty sure all the other 116 D-1 schools had players out at 2 a.m. last night too. I think this is a case of a couple players being idiots and not the team as a whole not respecting the coaching staff.

Honestly, you can't keep your eye on these "kids" 24/7. And chaining them to their beds obviously isn't an option either.

At some point, they have to be held accountable for their actions, not the coach.

Short of Kiffin or the other coaches camping outside their dorm room, its pretty much impossible to stop these idiots if they're bound and determined to do stupid stuff instead of focusing on school and football.

Obviously based on their action they're way too stupid to ever analyze through cause and effect of their actions relative to Kiffin's response.

Kiffin's response is the least of their worries as they may be headed to a place much worse then the hell holes they group up in.
