A little vasoline under the door handles is also good. He'll never get it cleaned up completely and every time he gets that slightly greasy feeling on his fingers for weeks to come, he won't know why.

From a Dawg fan I'd like to say, the dawg fans you speak of must live in the farthest stretches of the universe from where I reside. (Most likely they never attended UGA, and feel they somehow are the biggest supporter in the world, I have a name for those folks, but that's another topic) We feel lucky as hell to be in the position we are in currently, considering how badly and slowly we started off the season. To settle the argument, UGA didn't do a good job of being prepared and showing up for the game in Knox, but guess what, You guys played 4 quarters of ball and thumped us. I believe Tenn has shown massive fortitude and see no way LSU beats you guys in the SECCG. You guys persevered and deserve it. Now, if UGA somehow manages to get in to the NCG, with losses by 1 and 2, please don't be a homer, we are SEC brother''n, please, be a supporter.
P.S - GaSouthern Vol, did you go to school in Statesboro and now live in Tenn, or are you from Knox and go to school in Statesboro, just trying to figure out how why your a TEnn fan and advertise Southern, Southern is little Athens. Just curious.

I live in Ga. just below Chattanooga and have a bunch of Ga. fans at work, at church, and all around. I wish just one of them would have your attitude! It would be so refreshing! I would like to know what you call these types? I can't seem to come up with the right term to describe them. I also have been told by every one of them they would never route for UT, even after me stating I would route for them in the NC game. None of them have that "SEC brothren" thing going on.

Spent a week in Ringgold this summer and had to suffer daily from all the UGA fans bashing me. Ivan Lendl was even there and made fun of Tennessee.

yea, it's tough being right on the border, but Ringgold is a great place, except for these Ga. fans that think it is Athens during football season...

Yeah, I have a problem with that also. Let me tell you, I'm definitely a graduate of UGA and a long time fan, Some of my first memories were from my first football games at Sanford, about 4 yrs old watching Walker run over folks.) I have a big issue with people that are "so" called UGA fans, even here in Albany. They are posers to say the least They drive around with 900 stickers posted to their cars and brag and talk smack to people, and have never set foot in Athens. Here's the deal, if you're a true fan of an SEC team, you're a true fan of SEC football. I live for the fall, like many of you do. And if you've played sports and know about competition you're always going to hate you're opponent competitively, much like when UGA plays TEnn, I hate the orange. But, if you guys make it and we don't, and that goes for any SEC team, hey, I'm going to support you just like you were a dawg. That's the only way to live by the great football gods, lol, that's my religion. The only other problem I have is when people talk about luck, well, I'd rather be lucky than good, because, preparation + timing = luck and opportunity. I've noticed a lot of hating and bashing from fans, particularly the Gamecock nation, they root for out of conference teams over UGA, come on!, Spurrier is the spawn of Satan, but I"d be a Cock if they went to the big show. And, I'll always root my eastern SEC brothers over my western SEC cousins. You guys have the only team with enough guts and tenacity to make that sherbet orange color look half way decent. And for that my friends, I say you guys will thump the Cajuns, their D has been exposed, and you guys have that "wil" to win. (I ate a whole roll of tumms in your game vs Kentucky, lol) I hope you guys represent well in your bowl. UGA, is a pretty good team now, they've progressed, if we have a window of opportunity, any SEC fan should want them to represent us well. We may be co -eastern div champs, but you guys are the "representatives" and will be SEC champs, no true dawg fan wants to take that away from you.

I agree, live in Chatt and all I'm hearing is how the damn dawgs should be in the SECCG. Some are so stupid as to have made comments like "why did TN get PICKED to go to the SECCG, we have a better record?" freakin idiots......

Ringgold is a great place, i live there as well. Most of the annoying fans are the ones that have no clue what they are talking about. They never went to UGA or anyother school. I mean this could be said for fans from any team. UGA fans are bad (the non-educated ones) but the worst are the Alabama uneducated fans. by far.

Slobber, you know what you do, just ignore them. They define ignorance. You know some are ignorant because they are just oblivious to what is happening (homer fans), others are ignorant because they know but they have broken logic! (idiots) Those are the worst because you can't tell them anything, how can you fix what's broken if they don't understand it's broke, lol!
If you guys ever feel like talking some good football and having some fun loving smack, the dawgrant is the best board around. We keep it all in the family.

Ahhhh, lol, don't go cutting off any bulldog heads,horrible! :)) Personally, I prefer German Shep's, I don't think I could have a bulldog as a pet, but they make great mascots.
You guys win 28-22 in SECCG. Grudge match until 6 minutes in to 3rd quarter and you're ground game starts making advances and you guys wear them down throughout the 4th. Don't get beat by Hawaii! K:dance:
