I was watching the UT-UK game in Hilton Head, SC last weekend, with my friend and neighbor whose family was down there with mine. He's a big UK fan. So there we sat with our respective UK and UT hats on, watching the game and tolerating each other.

What was hard to tolerate was the one Georgia fan in the bar, with his red hoody GA sweatshirt on and his attempt-at-a-badass-beard-that-fell-well-short, who made it a point to come over to our table and cheer when UK did something good, and to moan loudly when UT did something good.

Obnoxious to the extreme.:bad:

Richt per press reports in the AJC has already had painted in the dawgs locker room "2007 Co SEC East Champions". I didn't know the SEC put out that official title? Are they gonna play one of the two halves this coming Saturday?

Did they paint it pink while they were at it? That's the color they should have worn when they came to Knoxville this year.

Well,I do have to say, I despise Georgia alot. I check out AJC online,just to see wht they're saying because it's so funny. U guys should see how they're saying they don't care abt the SECCG,we suck,we are a disgrace blah blah blah. Sore losers!

Georgia fans really are douche bags. And abut them the guys all looking the same I couldn't agree more. They must have some sort of generic one size fits all kit that they sell those guys. But I do pull for them in non sec games. Great idea on the Sugar Bowl, I too would like to see that!

My hate for UGA is exceeded (only slightly) for that of (1) Alabama and (2) Florida. But, based on recent comments by uga fans at my office, my hate level is rising exponentially for the bulldogs and by next season, may be maximized.

Lived in GA twice, once in the 70's, once in the 80's. They were insufferable when Herschel Walker was there.
Unfortunately, I lived there the year they beat UT 44-0. People drove around for hours honking their horns and waving red-and-black pom-poms out the windows. It was like being in pergatory. I felt like I was under seige.

Here's an old joke I remember from those days:

A bank in Atlanta put in new ATM machines that talk to the customers while they're transacting business.
A man drives up in a new BMW. The machine says: "What do you do for a living?"
The man says he's a doctor. The machine talks to him about advances in medicine while the transaction takes place.
Another man drives up in a Lexus. The machine says: "What do you do for a living?"

All I heard this week in the office is UGA is a better team and shouldn't have lost to USC and UT. UGA wouldn't lose now if they played UT and USC. That is what I always hear. "if we would have scored 41 points in the 4Q we would have won, if, if ,if. It has always made me sick even before this year. They got luck and beat UF when Tebow couldn't run the ball. Second or third time in 15 years and now they think they should be in the NC hunt???? Puh-lease. They are already saying they will win a NC next year because they team had a lot of Freshman this year. :shaking2:

2)How if they played us again they would whoop us. What ticks me off about this is how much ESPN and everyone else has fallen in love with UGA.

Not to take anything away from UGA they have done really well since taken the whoopin from us earlier but at least the UGA fans should acknowledge the fact we flat out whooped them (and whooped them last year too) and in my opinion you play to represent your division not to hope to not have to play in the championship and sneak yourself in to a national championship or BCS bowl. Long post but just wanted to see if anyone else has had the same reaction from UGA fans recently. I hate them and always go for the other team they are facing no matter what. Anyways GO Vols...Go Fulmer and staff (just please if we get up on LSU don't go to a prevent type gameplan just keep sticking it too them) and Lets go Whoop some LSU butt. ATL here we come the Pain Train gonna be rolling WOOOO!!! WOOOOO!!!! :crossfingers:

That's mostly the Georgia fans. Richt is a good Christian and that is reflected by his team. I have nothing but respect for him. I will always pull for them unless they play Tennessee or if a lose for them will help the Vols.

An obnoxious dawg fan at my office told me yesterday that the "UT loss was a fluke" and that "the real Georgia just didn't show up that day." Then he told me that Ga would blow out UT if they "played today." LOL!!!!

They must have a brainwashing course because that is almost verbatim what I was told. They are all excited because they beat Florida this year that everything else was a fluke. They have an unbelievable way of rationalizing! :crazy:

I completly understand having to listen to "pup" fans. I lived in Georgia for the past 8 years and have many friends there. I just moved back to of all places Ky. where I was born and raised, but I saw the light and I bleed orange. The hard part is I'm married to a Georgia girl and she dresses my two girls in ugly black and red all the time. My oldest child is almost lost now she pulls for the "pups", but good news I'm teaching my 2 year old ROCKY TOP and she loves singing it! I love my wife and our aniversary is OCT. 4th right at the VOLS-pups game I almost feel bad putting her on the couch during that time, but hey it's football! Somebody out there just pray for her!

Did you sign a pre nup?.......Just kidding. I have a little girl and she doesn't pull for UT. I think she does it just to try and aggravate me. It is funny because at the end of every game she has to ask who won and how do you score, etc...... So I know it is her ploy to get my attention and the VOLS rule in my house!!!!!!
