Yes, they do. The boys from Knoxville better be ready to play the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We need to keep on plugging away and do our best to capture the SEC East title and then hopefully more.

Don't worry. Any hopes and dreams of going to a NC game will be crushed next week. UK is exhausted physically and mentally after that game against LSU. UF will also be looking to show UK who's daddy.

Remember all the hell I took from this board when I said Tebow and Florida are OVRRATED?? Repost this after KY beats them by 14.......

That overrated team beat us in a supposed rivalry game by 39 points.

go read my other posts......I agree the loss was horrible but go find my post that has to do with answering the bell, overcoming adversity then you will see a lil clearer my point

My point was.... Rivalry games are supposed to be close and hard fought (see: last year's game). Rivalry games are not blow outs unless one team is VASTLY superior.

They may be over-rated,but I an guarantee you they would pimp slap what will be the top 4 teams in the rankings that come out today.

The truth is that we now know UGA sucks this year and there was never any question about Miss State being a bottom feeder, albeit a dangerous bottom feeder. What you see as answering the bell I see as beating lesser competition. As hard as it is for me to think of KY and SC as stiff competition, it will most likely be those two games that determine the success of this season.

We do? If it is based on yesterday, then remember that Vanderbilt came very close to beating Florida last year. They are... pesky. At times.
It is based on no quality victories and losing to the only 2 decent teams they have played. At this point, I'd have to say the loss to SC was UGA's best performance of the year. And again, I'll say that UGA is slow as molasses.

The SEC and the national picture are both jumbled as hell. I honestly think that without Woodson Kentucky would be in big trouble. We will see this next year.

LSU should be embarrased of themselves.

It really looks like Tennessee is starting to slowly grow up, particularly on defense. Our young secondary is maturing, the D-Line is doing better at clogging the runs up and pressuring the QB, sure they still have a few breakdowns, but we will be a very good team by the end of the year. Kentucky has very little depth, and will not be the beast that it is right now after a few more beat up players.

Kentucky has about as much of chance to be in the national title game as we do, which is not much of one. If you are a Tenn fan you should be concerned with next week and not about Kentucky or NC game.

They have a good Offense but their D is not good (similar to us). It will be a heck of a game when we play them. If we hold them to 21 points or less we can beat them.

Not a chance in Hades... UK just blew their wad on this one boys. Why do you think they laid an egg 2 Thursdays ago? Wasn't cause USC was better, they were looking through to LSU.

At seasons end, Tebow and Florida will be the best team in the conference. Maybe win the conference, maybe not, but the best team. As young as they are, they still went into Death Valley and played the best LSU team you'll ever see and damned near beat them. No way in hell UK follows this game up with a 14 point win over that Gator team.

I dont think UK can beat UFl... esp. after 2 losses in a row and a bye week. Meyer will be prepared as hell. But if UK beats Fl and manages to win the others (ugghh... that cant happen coz vols are on the way) ... they have the best chance to go to NC from SEC..

If the Vols hold Kentucky to 21 points or less, our defense somehow got better than LSU's defense. I think we need to put up 40 or more to beat Kentucky.

How great would it be for the SECe to be decided on the last weekend of the season in Lexington between the Vols and Kentucky.... has it ever happened? Has any SEC title ever been decided between UT/UK in the actual game?

It might work out to Tennessee's advantage in playing them later in the season. The young guys playing in the secondary can only get better with experience and UT's defense should improve because of that.
