Honestly I do, but don't hold that against me. The question is, which one do I hate more? The answer is, the one that uses it's arms to chomp in your face!! (this Saturday at least and not including Awbarn :))

Don't worry though UT will regain their position of hate after this week.

It will be tough to route for the "Big Orange" but I hope UT pulls the upset off. I think that it is very possible and I would love to see the Gators dethroned, at least for one Saturday.

Let's look at this thing optimistically here.

If you had to choose a win, would it be UCLA or UF? Of course I know the answer and that would be UF. Let me ask you this. Do you think the loss to UCLA will have the team better prepared for UF? I do. You very well might have traded a loss to UCLA for a win over UF.

A Big head and too much confidence will often lead to a bigger fall. That being said, I think that UT is going to get ready to play. I think that the UCLA game can be very valuable in the preparation for this weeks game against UF. UT has now seen the weaknesses that were left covered by a weaker WKU and can better prepare themselves for the upcoming week.

UT by 3

Thanks for the positive post Rev. I think our defense is good enough to keep the game fairly close. The probably I have is that Crompton just isn't good under pressure and UF knows that and will be on him all day. He has proved he can play when he is not pressured, but when he is, he falls apart. If our coaches can figure out a way to get him to just dump the ball off to his fullback or some other safety valve when he is pressured instead of zoning in on one receiver and then making terrible throws and decisions, we might be okay.

While I appreciate the optimism, we are going to lose and probably badly.
But I do hope you are right.

Oh, and go North Texas.

i think that lost was good for the coaches and players, we were smelling ourself after that wku win. i think we play uf close and maybe pull out a win. i think everyone in the country except uf fans is pulling for us.

I know many people will laugh about this, but I have predicted that UF will lose 2 games this year. Could be two of three teams and UT is one of them. BTW I alwayd loved orange koolaid as a kid....:)

thanks rev

hope you are right

any team can go down on just about any given week

I am going to remain somewhat optimistic until at least hafltime, LOL

We have to get most if not all the breaks, play solid D and not turn the ball over to have a shot.

GO VOLS

Too much can lead to brain damage, as you've no doubt noticed.

Honestly the way you guys can run the ball has me scared. I know you can't be one dimensional, but right now you have great D and pretty good O if you can get the QB issue figured out.

I had a dream last night UT was leading 6-3 with 2:52 left in the first half...and the air was sucked out of Ben Hill Griffin stadium

We have to survive the first half. If by some miracle we do, the pressure shifts to Florida.

the depth we have at running backs is very very fire.

1)keep timmy t off the field
2)slow sustained drives
3)balls to the wall, jaw breaking defense
4)smart special teams plays, and coverage

Win by 3? Vols couldn't even put together a game winning drive on their home field against a mediocre UCLA team. But i really hope you're right on this.

UF really has a pretty easy gameplan. Stack the box, stop the run, and make Crompton beat them. We all know what the outcome will be. I want to beat the Gates as much as anyone else. I live in Florida (polk county) which is predominantly Gator Fans. But i also am realistic. It will take at least 2 yrs to get this team back in the SEC hunt. We just got to try and be patient. Kiffin has to play the hand he was dealt and Fulmer didn't leave him much.

On one hand, I feel like if we were going to get the QB issues sorted out, we would have by now given the famously woeful play we had at that spot last year.

In the other hand, I have a nice big tall glass of orange kool-aid, that says you never know when something will just "click." Let's just hope that clicking sound is not a breaking bone of our starting QB as he gets hit while throwing his sixth interception of the year.

hope its the click or crunch of our defense breakin some gator tail, and ruining their season. you know there would be a mass suicide or something haha
