Some of us forget that we play UGA consistently well under Butch.

I expect another close hard fought game win or lose.

In those weaker conference the team left out is usually a team not viewed as a perennial powerhouse. If USC, Texas, Oklahoma etc go undefeated, they are in regardless of their conference. Tennessee is the same. One of the top winningest programs in football history. If they are undeafeated they are in, regardless.

An undefeated Auburn was left out a few years back. Now there are 4 slots so that wouldn't happen. But the real issue is a one loss SEC champion. Imagine UT loss the GT but then ran the table. And FSU best Bana and the SEC lost all the other out of conference games. The ACC gets two teams in with undefeated FSU and a one loss Clemson (lost in OT to FSU) while Oklahoma and Michigan round out the field. UT fans whine but the SEC just isn't that strong of a conference.

It's a solid road win for Georgia. That's as far as I'm willing to say tho.

Fromm had a QBR of 13...

ND is probably improved from last year (they won't lose to Duke or NC state....) but I wouldn't inflate them too much. I would say they are a GT level team right now. ND's QB was mediocre on passing. Without the 2 turnovers, Georgia loses that game.

Let's be REAL. Tenn cannot hang with UGA. That Defense will bottle us up and WE can't stop the Run; (Or Pass; trying to stop the run) Don't get all pumped up to get let down. Ga is fast becoming bama of the East. Top 5 Recruiting; with Talent on board. Sorry; you whippersnappers will get it eventually. Dogs by 21.

We started ranked 25.

It is better for our ranking to beat teams ranked above us, right.

In fact, the higher they are ranked above us the more it helps elevate our ranking when we beat them.

I want all of our opponents to be ranked above us when we beat them.

The higher their standing, better our chance of winning the SECe. Higher the ranking, better the bowl.

I don't want us playing down.

Anyone who thinks a true freshman QB with a mediocre o line and recievers is going to come into the most hostile stadium in the world and win, well... that'll be the day. Not going to happen.

You all amaze me with your football IQ and logic you root for other SEC schools when they play other conferences this shows the strength of the SEC... that's why it's such a big deal during bowl season it shows the power of the conference. You should treat other SEC schools kinda like your little brother everytime you play them you want to keep them in their place and beat the **** out of them but you don't want anyone else from outside the family doing the same. I hate Florida but was rooting for them against Michigan now it didn't hurt me to see them lose but would of rather them have won and then us beat them it makes that win that much bigger!!!

I don't understand how Notre Dame was expected to be so good this year. They went 4-8 last year for crying out loud!!! TN has NEVER gone 4-8. Georgia is picked by many to win the SEC East and a 4-8 team form last year was favored over them?! You've got to be kidding me. If it was any other team that had previously gone 4-8 Georgia would have been favored by 20. It kills me how much undeserved respect Notre Dame gets.

I'm more worried about them than the Gators. Even in preseason, they looked good on paper.

Whether we have the better team or not, we always play UGA and UF close. And that's what makes it scary.

I've lived in Georgia for18 years, and have heard that exact thing for at least 17 of them. Let me know when they get there, until then, it'll be a close game as usual.

That's just stupid. Both offenses were terrible. Notre Dame had an atrocious defense last year and went 4-8.. and when was the last time Georgia held us under 31 points? 2011? Good lord.

Unfortunately their defense is solid this year and executes the blitz well, but I think they can be baited into it and give up a big play using it against them. Their offense is a little shaky, their freshman QB turned it over twice. Surely our staff see how they get Michel/Chubb hitting the line at a veer angle and then making a cut, neither one is very successful at just a straight run, but they have breakaway speed. I think we can beat them, I hate 'em as well, but their defense is for real this year.
