It was bound to happen after having a few days off from a very intense game.

It's expected. I figured we would handle Georgia as hot as we have been playing but this is a horrible loss. We needed these next two on the road. Oh well....no point in following RPIs or anything else. If we don't win the tournament, we aren't selected.

Dude, we just had one hell of a hot streak. These games happen.

They do but it's not allowed if you have dreams of reaching the NCAAT. Blame that on Tennessee. They are the ones that played down to competition early in the season and put theirselves in this situation. The streak is for nothing if you don't get a bid out of it.

Obviously this team sux when Golden pulls a no-show. Unfortunate that we waisted a brilliant effort by McRae.

Yeah to be honest just kind of figured it would happen. That is just how things have gone for us in every sport.

We weren't even discussing the tourney a few weeks ago.

Seems like the Brick Layers Union had a discussion with him before the game...they were getting lonely.

Pretty much this. It was a great streak but they were put in this position, mainly in games like this one earlier.

So unless we pull out a miracle here at the end, we're probably looking at a repeat of last year.

Golden was not golden today. Man, if he just wouldve had an average day we might have pulled this one out.

Plus, Stokes was not involved as much as needed.

For whatever reason, we just don't match-up with Georgia this season.

Golden is pissing me off. It's one thing to have an off game. It's another to know you're sucking it up, yet continue to chuck 3s left and right down the stretch. Oh yeah, continue bricking shots while your buddy is on fire scoring 30+. Golden reminds me of Hopson. Show out one game. But then completely disappear. Acting like a lil kid pouting around when things aren't going his way.

Who cares? We were before today's game. The streak is absolutely pointless if we don't do something with it. Losing to a team like Georgia on the road with only 2 games in the season and being on the bubble does not cut it. I would have rather not went on a run just to choke at the end and host another team in TBA for a NIT game that nobody in the country cares about. It just makes starting slow that much more frustrating. We did the same retarded stuff last season and most figured we would resemble that team on the run starting this season and we repeated everything we did this year. We for sure have the potential to win the SECT so not all hope is lost but I wouldn't count on it.

What does playing basketball have to do with observing Golden's performance? He didn't show today. No other way to slice it buddy

Real easy to talk like that, when you don't play, right?

It's his job as a PG to facilitate. If his shot isn't going, penetrate and dish the ball, or penetrate and get to the FT line. Dump it in to Stokes move, cut, slash. Create shots for teammates. Don't stand and dribble 29 seconds off the shot clock and try to bust a move with 6 seconds left. His game was horrible today. He could have had zero points and 6-8 assists today and we might have won. But he pouted much like Hopson on an off day. Trae always pouts on an off day.
