That everyone (and I say 'everyone' loosely) is already talking about who we are gong to hire because Dooley "doesn't know what he's doing," or simply because "we suck" and you goons can't be patient and at least give the man a chance to turn the program around when he's obviously playing from the bottom of the barrel. I sat in the second row of section 126 today. I can't tell you how many UGA fans are scared to death to play us in a couple of years because they can see what we are becoming, even with what was displayed on the field today. We are heading in the right direction still, I firmly believe that. A coaching change (x2) is what got us here in the first place, and if you fools want another one, then prepare yourselves for at least another 6-7 years of piss-poor football.

So the Ga fans are scared of us. Damm, they beat us like a rented mule today, so I hate to think what would happen if they weren't scared.

Why? Are we going to hire another random guy out of the WAC?

No, hiring a 4th coach in 4 years would just deplete our roster even more than it already is. Eventually you've got to have some stability in the program if it's ever going to come back.

the guy doesn't know how to coach his assistants suck even worse than he does and it is pretty obvious that you don't know much about football or you would see this. that about sums it up. also i'm sorry in 2 years we still won't have a winning record.

Agree with the OP. Who wants to coach at a school that doesn't support you, who's fans will turn on you before you step foot on the field, who's fans expect you to win championships with second tier talent, who's fans expect you to recruit 4 and 5 star players with little or no time to form a recruiting base? Yeah that sounds like somewhere a top tier coach wants to come. Today is really revealing how delusional some UT fans are. Sad, very sad.

Nice avatar Supersmo. Then only thing I would like to see do Dooley is let Bray bond with the 1st string for the future. He is much quicker in his decision making because he played in a pass heavy offense in high school. Since we're probably gonna lose more anyway let him learn now so our offense is better next season. The experts picked us to be last in the S.E.C......so why be so angry at Dooley and the rest of the staff......all these haters should be hating on the head coach of the U.S.C. Trojans and his crew.....because it is all their fault!

When Troy Calhoun looks over your roster and elects to remain at Air Force, it should tell you all you need to know about where Tennessee is at right now.

It sucks losing by 27 points and maybe better coaches only lose by 10 but this is a bad football team right now.

The good news is that it can be a good football team in as little as 2-3 years.

this..... some people need to get a grip....there is no magic pill that gives us players who protect the ball, protect the qb, or to grow up at the drop of a hat. this is a young team. we had seven (let me repeat that....SEVEN) true freshman on offense at times today. that is not going to cut it in the sec, but that is what dooley has to work with.

Probably same people that wanted Mike Shula gone after the first year.

You can't tell us, because there aren't any.

We lined up 6 freshmen on offense for a large portion of the game...we have a completely depleted roster...

If you can't see how next to impossible that makes it to win in the SEC then you clearly don't know anything about winning football games in the SEC

If you truly believe we won't be fully reloaded with talent and have at the very least a winning record by 2012 then you are even further exposing your complete lack of knowledge about the game of football

when people heard this year that we was starting 5 new O-line, new QB, new runningback, and on Defense we have 1 true D tackle hopefully he didn't get hurt to badly today. we don't even have enough DB's to play a Dime package. like it or not. it takes time to fix these problems.

Amazing. Everyone agreed before the season started what we were in for. Everyone agreed it was going to take time. Yet here we sit after the sixth game and I swear if I had a dollar for every butterhead screaming the sky's falling, I'd retire tomorrow! I know it's painful, I'd rather finish the season a national champion, but I signed on to see it through. Those of you that have it all figured out, please just stop posting because you're embarrassing all of us.

I guess you know so much more about football than the rest of us.
