Ok, i was born into a family of Tennesee fans that goes back to the 60s. I started to realize what was all about around 85-86 when i was around 6 years old and started to understand the game. I am disgusted with alot of the goings on of late. First off, I think we should have stuck things out with CPF, but it's too late now. I do not belive we can expect to be on top every year. Everyone is pointing fingers, but winning and losing is just like the economy -it's gonna have good cycles and bad cycles. Look at Bama. They have had a coaching carousel and it took them how many years to get back to where they were with Stallings' 1 nat chamiopnship (I belive they will win it this year over Penn St) and have never and probably never will see the days of Bryant. I had contemplated that our coach may have been getting burned out, but thats not what I saw from the press conference and from his commercials I think we can all agree he is a much better coach than actor. Now, my recommendation for our new coach, that is gonna get dumped on probably mostly by people who became instant fans somewhere I expect around 1998, but why not consider hiring Andy Kelly for the job? He knows the traditon, he would relate well to the kids,he knows offense and knows what it takes to develop a quarterback, and if he could he should keep Chavis and let him do what he feels with the defense. I say we should keep our offensive staff in place. Let the dumping commence.

:eek:lol:What a freaking joke.

Have you seen the disaster of an offense we have put on the field man!! SUCK! and you want to keep the staff responsible for that? What the heck is wrong w/ you. Do you like watching UT football look like crap? Keep Chavis, are you kidding? Have you watched UT play since 1998?

Gruden, Gruden, Gruden! GRUDEN FOR UT 09

alot of kids theese days dont have a team mentalianty, they need to take up golf of bowling.
i was just in supermarket other day and as a 27 year old i was shocked to hear a pree teen kid say F u mom, and she just walked on like nothing happend. maybe the descipline is lacking here theese days, uset to you never heard of kids here getting in any real trouble up untill i guess lenord little.

That last post by orange_fan_inVa had to be a joke on his part...

Someone whose grammar is really that bad couldn't be educated enough to even know what a computer is

To orange fan inVA, those were the funniest posts I've read here all year. Even they were hard as hell to get through. Please continue but if you would give it to us in smaller doses it would help.:swoon3:

Whew! It was a struggle, but I managed to plow through all the comments, and I, too, am much amused. I am also somewhat bewildered by "vol fan inVa's" scattered logic.

However, keeping Fulmer and any of his staff on board would only sabotage the program the new coach will be mandated to establish. I laud Fulmer's true patroitism in his willingness to stay on in any capacity under the guise of helping the program, but that would only serve to undermine the new coach's efforts regardless of the intended well meaning.

I see that some members here tend to equate time as a member at this site to how long one has been an Orange bleeder. Big mistake.
