i feel horrible to admit this but...

I am a vol for life and never want to see these kids lose but this coachin staff is a joke. Say what u want...I know for a fact 20 ppl I ran into at the game said the same thing....donors as wells. Tifwiw. I bleed orange!

Dont feel bad i dont want tn to lose but if I knew that we had to lose that game or dooley would be our coach next year id do it... sorry one loss vs another year of losing seems rational to me

****Not a Dooley Fan**** if winning out means Dooley keeps his job, then WIN OUT!!!!! If **ONLY***losing every game means Dooley loses his job, then WIN OUT!!!!! There is no circumstance that would ever make me want to see the Vols lose.

I sat with some guys from work in section W this Saturday. I was not hoping we would lose but can tell you I was shocked at the season ticket holders sitting around me expressing their desire we would lose around the 6 minute mark of the 4th. They were very vocal. So my point is, a lot of people say they never wish for a loss. Those people were no place to be found in section W on Saturday.

Interesting.... I know TN fans are bad, but wishing the team to lose? :cray:

Quit hoping for losses, the actual players are who we cheer for they are our Team in Orange. If their morale is lowered at all next year will be a bigger disappointment. Lets be good fans and support the players, if a coaching change is needed , it will happen.

Don't wish for losses. Wish for players to play hard and win. It was obvious our defense was slow and confused, they will wake up Monday and work all week long to become better next week.

Bleed Orange
Don't give up on the players.
GBO VFL
Bamahater out.

At some point I was actually pulling for Troy to get that win so dooley would get the door sooner! Hate to admit but this is gotten ridiculous beyond belief! Now I don't have any clue on coaching changes and who knows, dooley could lose 2 outta 3 and still end up our 2013 coach but watching what I did yesterday was embarassing to the point of laughter. I will cheer for my vols til I die but I cannot support this coach....now say what u want but deep down most hope we lose at least to mizzou or vandy to get t is clown out the door. I don't wanna lose at all but that seems to be the only way.... VFL!

You did a good thing. I hope and pray Mizzou beats us this weekend, even though I have my doubts because they are uber-rancid. But to be a true VFL is to pull against us the rest of the way in order to send Red Dawg Dooley back to Vince and Barbara's palace.

You dont bleed orange. If you did you would not be wanting the vols to lose. I bleed orange and I ALWAYS PULL FOR BIG ORANGE.VFL.. GET OUTTA HERE TROLL.

You should!! As much as I want change, I never, ever find myself wishing for us to lose.

This tells us a lot. That's all we need to know. Either get on or get off. Feel how you want about this coaching staff but by God your either with us or you ain't.

While I didn't want the Vols to lose, the constant back and forth offense made me feel like i was watching a Pac-12 game... So I understand your point.

Based on the defensive performance, I'm pretty sure Sal was pulling for Troy. The UT D is very accomodating and welcoming to their opponents.

The point is that it has come to this for many fans and that on its own is pathetic. Not the fact that they are cheering for losses, but the fact they are cheering for Dooley to lose. I know you cant have your cake and eat it to, but when they lose to Vandy or Mizzou more will go to the darkside.

I wanted Robinson to do good because he is from Lone Oak High just down the road from me, but I could NEVER EVER EVER root against the big orange. The university and UTAD have seen what we have seen. They will do things at the appropriate time that they think is best for the university. Right now, I'm just praying that the decision doesn't involve bringing Dooley back. Till then...just trying to be patient and see what happens after the KY game.

Sadly, I agree for the most part. It's analogous to having a family member or friend who simply needs to hit rock bottom before they can finally see their issues and resolve them. Do I want to see UT do well this season? Of course. However, the overall health of the program moving forward my be dictated by hitting rock bottom this season, so that change can occur and we can move forward.

I live in Minnesota. Apparently, the Gophers used to have a proud football tradition. Who knew? These days, it is impressive for the U of M to beat Syracuse or hang with Northwestern. I'm afraid that at the rate UT is going, we could potentially encounter a similar fate if things don't turn around very, very soon.

So you want the team to lose?

I wanted Tennessee to win for sure, but I was at the point where I had almost accepted the fact that we were going to lose. I would have been fine if Troy had beaten us. It wouldn't have ruined my day. That was a super weird feeling that I desperately want to get rid of.

Cheering for the team to lose is a failure of epic magnitude, no matter the coaching situation.

Like i said before, guess i need to say it again for those ppl who are dense....i was not "cheering for Troy" nor was I "cheering for UT" to lose! dont take what was actually said into your own twisted words. I would never nor will i ever root for tennessee to lose a game.
