berry played like a champ, warren has so much talent that is being wasted. it wouldn't suprise me if they both left at the end of the year.

Actually I felt like this was one of the worst games Berry has played. He missed an awful lot of tackles and was honestly just not a factor. And that is coming from a huge Berry-homer.

I think the defense did about all they could do against florida. What did we give up 24 points to them. Most of the night they had a short field to work with. It wasn't perfect but i don't think we could have expected much more from that side of the ball.

The defense was definitely better than the offense. But UF was pretty much on cruise control all night. They really didn't have to try that hard on offense. It has to be demoralizing as a defense to see your offense consistently not help you out at all though. I will give them that. Still we missed way too many tackles which has been a standard for the last 6 or 7 years.

Thats standard for a john chavis coached defense. Overall though the defense was one of the few bright spots.

Berry and Warren are the only two current UT players with enough talent to play on Florida's current squad, and I'm not sure Warren would start.

There are a few others. Enough to put up more than token resistance versus florida.

I'm pretty sure Urban would love one of our non-senior RB's and Gerald Jones.

Get Warren the ball....please

Stocker finally caught a couple of balls....but he cannot run after the catch. Warren looks like a WR out there. Get him the ball!

Umm... no? He had 8 tackles and some really hard hits on those and atleast one PBU that almost went for 6. He was the most consistent player on our defense today. He had a great tackle against Tebow as well for a loss to prevent him from turning the corner.

He played better in this game than the first two - just because he didn't have an interception doesn't mean he automatically had one of his worst games. He was out of position a lot early in the year last year - so no way this was his worst performance.

If you think Hardesty would be playing at Florida right now, you're kidding yourself.

He may be better than Foster, but he's not that good. He's certainly not a marquee running back.

Creer could be, but I heard he's a fumbler as well.

Warren is a stellar athlete who is being royally screwed by our coaching staff. Not only can he catch (and make plays after the catch, unlike Stocker) but he blocks like his life depends on making the other guy look stupid. There is no way he shouldn't be on the field at least 90% of our offensive snaps. Our coaches need to pull their heads out of their butts and start using him.

On that note, when he is on the field Crompton needs to look his way. I've seen several plays where Warren is WIDE open and Crompton throws into double coverage somewhere else.

No, I figured that out a long time ago. I guess we can't ask a junior high quarterback to play D-1 football.
