I Feel A Huge Win Coming

I'm certainly in the running, with you and others, but thank you.

If someone were to start a "i feel a beat down coming" thread, you and your other sheep would jump all over the op for being negative and making everyone cry.

So, not finding everything negative, makes one a sheep. OK

I'll be around long after you've gone. My fandom is no different than yours. I'm entitled to say my bit, just like you.

I just don't run after your idiotic posts trying to run you down. I'd be exhausted.

Let me get this right, it’s ok for you to be negative about everything Vols, yet idiotic for someone to be negative to your negative postings.

If you disagree with someone, use logic and reason to defend your position rather than straw man tactics like pretending everyone who isn't positive all the time wants the entire staff fired now.

Something is wrong with me, because I have the same feeling for some reason...................and I NEVER have this feeling

The guys trying to be positive....How about just not posting at all...don't be a Debbie Downer:rock:

We've learned how to keep them close but we have not learned how to win the close ones yet. That is a definite skill and it is also an indicator of maturity and good coaching/play calling. I think we are approaching the tipping point but I don't feel like we are quite ready to win a big one. Hope I am wrong! Regardless, even a loss against a team like Ole Miss is a learning experience.

Don't worry to much my friend if you get lambasted by some of these poor lads. It just means your part of the family, vols have been turning on vols in this house since our great vol dynasty fell. This board is therapy to some of them. You've always been a well mannered gator in this forum. Enjoy your input. I still can't stand:hi: them gators but I till hope all is well with you.

Thanks.

And while I completely get supporting your team, I'll never understand being unable to admit that your opponent is pretty good, too.

Both Ole Miss and MSU were projected to have good seasons, turns out they are both poised to have REALLY good seasons. That its hard to find much fault with them doesn't mean you don't hope your team performs well when it counts.

In the end, I do think UT is on the right track. As a Gator fan I'm kind of mystified by the negativity here at the moment. I mean, during the Dooley years, yes. And at the end of Fulmer, definitely. But you are playing 20 + freshmen That's just unheard of, but in a year, maybe two because of the QB situation, there's no reason why the Vols won't be the next Ole Miss/MSU story.

Believe me, I've tried logic over and over. At the end of the day all some of these degenerates understand is a good ole fashion smack in the mouth (figuratively speaking of course). You can only go over facts so often( 22freshmen, depleted OL full of 1st year starters, 2nd year in a system, ect). Some peoples "just win baby" attitude is completely irrational and they know it. They are just upset with our win/loss record and want to argue with some one on a message board. Well, "I'm ya Huckleberry". Just don't get mad when I b**** slap you message board style.

Upsets happen. Arizona was a 21 pt underdog to Oregon. A TN win over Ole Miss would be considered one of the biggest upsets this year and one of the best for TN since beating Miami in the 1985 Sugar Bowl.

I'm going to try and make this as simple as I can. Nobody with half a brain expected us to win big this season, it's just that it's more than frustrating when we can't beat a ten point scoring, Will Muschamp led UF team at home to win a game we haven't won since 2004. This fanbase has been through too much over the last decade, and now we have this punch in the gut where we think we finally have good coaches only to appear comically inept once again. This has led to some fans voicing their concerns about the offensive philosophy about which the coaches seem stubborn to change in spite of results.

I really hope we can return to where we belong, but I'm not going to pretend I know we will for certain because I don't know that we will and neither do you. Express your belief that things will get better all you want, but don't force it on others who choose to live in the real world and evaluate the things they see fairly rather than starting at the conclusion that things will get better just because you want them to and finding reasons from there.

To dream the impossible dream, to beat the unbeatable odds….sounds good!

Maybe if the first play isn't the read option or wait is that the dive play..then I will think maybe we have adjusted.. Lol
