He is having a very rough season but think about the consequences, Tennessee is not going to cut him loose because if they do, they have to pay him out for the rest of his contract extension and they ain't about to drop all the money, Fulmer ain't going nowhere, everybody can get over it, so what we had a rough season, theres always next year, every team has a rough season, just keep all of your heads up and i guarantee next season is 100 times better, some players just need time to mature.

Fulmer is going. It's a done deal. They are just waiting for the right time to announce it to do the least amount of damage to the team. They still have a chance to become bowl eligible....the AD doesn't want to kill the season (although it is wounded badly)
Look for the announcement after Saturday's game.

glad to see we have a non biased fulmer opinion from someone with a neutral sounding name (sarcasm) but the "well get em next year" attitude is gettin pretty old,,,,,

Won't be a next year for Fulmer, but maybe we (Tennessee team) will get them next year with our new coach.

Network and ESPN exposure dropping; cameras panning thousands of empty seats in the most beautiful stadium in college football; no answer to the disaster on the field; too much pride to let it continue to slide, he's gone... not too far, just over to admin.

Hey Phil, why don't you get back to work, Gamecocks are Saturday and you need to get back to "meeting & fighting" and "working like heck" to get the guys ready.

I love this "next year will be better". Almost by default it will be better. 3.5 cupcake OOC opponents (I count UCLA as a half since they did beat us this year but still suck too), all at home, plus 4 home SEC games. We SHOULD go 9-3 next season, but guess what, we'd still lose the 3 most important games.

I'm sure you Fulmerites would be overjoyed at that.

....... i guarantee next season is 100 times better, some players just need time to mature.

So maturity is the answer to the problems you listed in your post before?

Alabama comes to Neyland and lays the smack down, I didn't really expect us to win but here's the problems from tonight and all year.

1.Too Conserative, didnt attack enough
2.Intensity Loss, Great during 1st half but no kazazz during 2nd half
3.Fulmer showing no emotion, not caring, Fulmer has got to go
4.Just laying down after getting scored on a couple of times
This team has got plenty of talent, some of the best in the league, but somebody has to bring in the right coach at the helm that can take these boys and let em run the table every year because the talent is here, just when a coaching staff with no emotion and desire leads to a dead team come game day and I am sick of it, just totally disgusted, this is not UT FOOTBALL, IM JUST SO SICK OF IT, i'm reserving every saturday from here on out to do something else, this is just too much and when changes are made I will feel all of this weight come off my shoulders and be a happy UT fan again, changes=success and that's the bottom line. CAN'T WAIT FOR BASKETBALL SEASON!!!

Haven't we already been through all this?

BTW - your guarantee carries a LOT of weight. Thanks.
