I could see us beating Georgia. They've had enough of a talent advantage to steamroll us the last couple of years, but they didn't play up to their talent level and nearly lost both. I think the talent is close enough that, if they play with fire this year, they'll get burned. Alabama only seems like a possibility because of how they're playing right now, but I'll be shocked if they don't figure it out before the 3rd Saturday. Even with 5 turnovers, it still took that crazy touchdown pass for Ole Miss to win.

Maybe, but most of them are made just to be "that guy" who called it just in case it happens. I don't believe for a second every person that's posted these type threads every year actually believe it.

I don't know man, like, I was smoking something too and was getting all these negative vibes. Like I think OU showed teams we're afraid to pass so they will just load up the box to stop the run. I mean if you like look at our schedule we only play 2 teams with bad D-lines, SCAR & UNT, so maybe we finish the year at 4-8. Because you know if we lose tomorrow and start 2-5 then juniors and seniors will start to think about staying healthy for the draft and not play as hard. Maybe I'm just freakin out man about all the freshman we have playing when we brought in 30 kids 2 years ago in a top 5 recruiting class

I actually think this may be UGA's year to win the SEC. I think we have a better chance of beating bama this year...of course Richt could Richt cause he has been known to do that. Bama aint a gimme but they arent' as good as past teams

I am always hopeful . . . though not as much as I used to be. Too many disappointments, watching our team fold when it matters most. This isn't just a recent development. Going back to the last several years of the Fulmer era, that was our pattern, too.

I'd like to see us get to the 8 win threshold, but I'm not confident. Sheeesh . . . remember the days when an 8 win season was considered a disappointment? I sure do. And that makes this time even harder.

Anyway, Go Vols! Beat Arkansas!
