Maybe for about a quarter of the board. But for the majority its a truism. And its not unique to UT fans, by any means. Everyone thinks that the guy who says their team is underrated is a seer.

I don't know about the percentages, but there is a set of folks on here who can appreciate well reasoned analysis, positive or negative, of the team / program and give credit where it's due.

Oh definitely. There is a large contingent of fans who, though rooting for UT, aren't insane about it and blocking all negatives out. But its quite a bit smaller than the rah-rahs.

I'd say that this time of year the board is dominated by the well-reasoned. Wait until about August 20th. Will get goofy for quite a bit.

I'd take 9 (under 9.64) wins this season.

I have no idea what to expect, so I'm not gonna bother with making predictions for the season record, much less any of the games.

I would love to see how many people picked us to go 5-6 and lose to Vandy.....I doubt it was anyone. That being said I think we hav a winning season, but are beaten by the heavy hitters in the SEC, UF, UGA, USC. I think we romp Cal again.
