100%. We won so all is forgiven in a lot people's eyes. That doesn't change the fact the end of game in regulation was horribly mismanaged. And i know a lot of it was on Aguilar. But we still could've managed that a lot betterTo not be critical of Heupel and his poor decision making would be ignorant. Especially since UT is paying him millions of dollars to make good decisions.
Why are you being critical to those who are critical of those who are critical? Why are so many critical of those who are critical? Let everyone be! If you disagree, move on or post something (politely) explaining your position. Calling someone out is just as bad… I made comments all game but they were spot on.
My opinion? I thought we’d lose but continued to yell at the TV and post positive comments about the players when they made a play.
Message boards allow folks to vent. Fans are fanatical - emotional. So let everyone be and move on.
By the way- GO VOLS!
I agree totally....you take the "W".....it doesn't have to look pretty...a road game is hard to win regardless of teamWhy are some so negative and cry babies?
We won dammit. Enjoy it! Geez. I can’t imagine what it would be like to be inside your respective heads. So negative and “everything sucks!”
Be thankful and shut up. Yes we need to improve in certain areas but in the past CJH would lose these type games but today we won. That’s called improvement!
I’m hearing callers on the Tony Basilio show calling for CJH’s head. This is ridiculous. Those are the extreme folks but still the sentiment of whining about everything.
It’s the same thing every game. With next week being a bye week, we’re about to get 13 days of posts boasting about how we’re going to beat Arkansas 70-3 and should have no problem winning by two TDs in Tuscaloosa.Simple answer to the question. Read through last weeks posts and you’ll see an enormous amount of over confidence from the majority. Score a bunch of points against buy teams and people think you are bama under Saban. This isn’t Fulmer’s SEC where you go on the road against most teams and cruise to a big win. People expected that and they were wrong. Then the game comes down to one final play and folks are mad cause it didnt go the way they wanted.
And it changes nothing just like the "we could lose this game" comments changes nothing. Errbody triggert!! Lol.It’s the same thing every game. We had a TD drop and two TDS taken off the board...it obviously should've been a blow outI said it in another thread, but if Matthews doesnt drop that ball and Brazzell play goes the other way in the PI, the feel of this game is totally different. We still, at the same time, have a lot of areas to get better in.
That's right, there were only a few good teams in that era, now they can be bad one year and great the next because of transfers. Everybody is better. It's also harder to build quality depth since the 2nd stringers up and leave for the lower tier teams. Injuries can ruin a team for games they used to win easily.Simple answer to the question. Yeah, it was sloppy.I don’t understand you. You are the type who would jump all over someone for saying “Mississippi State could be tough” on Friday and then will whine equally hard about someone discussing the team’s performance objectively.
This was a bad performance from Tennessee today. Josh Heupel and all the pass catchers (aside from Brazzell) were really bad today. We won anyway. We should be able to discuss the truth.
Yeah those posters are stupid too. That doesn't mitigate the extreme opposite form of stupidity as in the constant negativity towards HeupelIt’s the same thing every game. Now you stop that bringing truth and common sense to this thread. And stop putting out the fire on those heads running amuck. You’re spoiling their funWe had 3 turnovers, giving them short fields 3 times. We had 2 bad PI calls go against us, and we still won!
This is just who the fans are. I've heard it all my life. "If you don't hate this coach, if you don't hate this team, you're not a true vol fan". It's the same now as it was 50 years ago.Why are some so negative and cry babies?
Because crying gets attention. Look, you made a post for them! Why are some so negative and cry babies?

I think the miffed punt at the start hirt Tennessee. They forced MSU to go 3 and out and momentum started in our favor. Our defense was on the field way too long.I said it in another thread, but if Matthews doesnt drop that ball and Brazzell play goes the other way in the PI, the feel of this game is totally different.
